So simple question. Where do you play? Do you have a game room or do you just take over the kitchen table?
I also am into retro gaming so I have a game room in the basement. There's a little fold out table I play on. This room also has my board games, my old systems, DVDs and blu-rays of my horror and sci-fi movies and some other odds and ins. I kept my cards in a little drawer until I got card protectors and now they take up more space. I usually put on music or an old horror radio show while I play.

I play in my game room. The room contains a 6'x10' miniature war gaming table, lots of miniature army cases, boxes of terrain for fantasy or futuristic settings, all my consoles, gaming pc, live-streaming area, and a vast collection of role-playing games on numerous shelves ready for play. I have about 2000 movies, but all of them have been converted to digital and are stored on our personal cloud. I usually roll on my desk at my computer so I can record my stats/results as I play. All of my cards are in hard plastic sleeves, and are stored on a purpose built stand beside my desk. I usually have a movie or music playing in the room as I play to listen to. I have a stocked fridge nearby for easy access. Pretty simple really.

At my previous home I played at the kitchen table, but in my new place I play in my room. The new set up is perfect with everything in arms length and here is my gaming area...

Are those drawers stackable? I've been looking for a new container for my cards since I got the protectors for them.

Are those drawers stackable? I've been looking for a new container for my cards since I got the protectors for them. Yes they are stackable with 3 drawers per container and they are called Sterilite, but they are old going back to the late 90's I think. They work well for both games, but now I only keep my GFP stuff in them. 4 drawers are for my 3 feds (2 IFC brands, THE FIVE and FMX) and I still have plenty of room for other stuff... Man seeing those counsel's brings back memories for some of them for me, the Atari for sure is cool as is the Genesis...

You can't see them but most of those consoles have what's called an Everdrive cart. Those look like a cartridge for the system, then you put an SD card in and can play all the games for the system. They are expensive but worth it considering the retro game prices right now.
The system under the Atari is the Famicom which is the Japanese NES console. Some cool games that never came out here.

My game room is a mess. I'm a retro to modern video game player as well. My daughter likes to play in there as well. I'm going to clean it up a bit today because it's making dice rolls chaotic.

Before this summer started I changed up my room with having a new air conditioner, so my game desk area looks like this... I have all the booklets and card fronts inside my Rumble Box, while everything else is in the plastic shelves...
