I am going to be treating this just like the real USWA in 1989 and 1990. There will be a Memphis and a Dallas territory. Each territory will have it's own wrestlers and championships but there will be a couple of championships that float around.
Also, I am using a contract system that someone created for Face to the Mat. Some of the talent will be permanent but most will be on contracts and the comings and goings will be a little out of my control. Some of this will be me feeling things out and seeing what works but I am excited for this new project.
Here are the championships:
World Titles:
USWA Unified World Heavyweight Championship USWA World Tag Team Championship USWA Junior Championship
Memphis Only:
USWA Southern Heavyweight Championship USWA Southern Tag Team Championship USWA Television Championship
Dallas Only:
USWA Texas Heavyweight Championship USWA Texas Tag Team Championship

I like this, it'll be fun to see how it unfolds and I like both starting rosters. I do like the Dallas roster a bit more, but fun stuff my friend...

Special USWA Announcement:
The Konishoner is behind a desk in his office.
Konishoner: Welcome fans to the new wrestling promotion the USWA. We here at the USWA believe in the deep traditions of professional wrestling. We believe that pro wrestling is a sport and not sports entertainment. The USWA will be made up of two promotions. The Memphis and Dallas regions. These regions will have their own champions and rosters but will share the three World Titles. There will be tournaments to decide these belts and then the promotions will determine their own champions how they see fit. We debated heavily who should host the tournaments and we decided on a coin flip. The winner will get the Unified World Title Tournament for their first show and the loser will get the World Tag Team Title Tournament for their first show. The flip decided that Memphis will host the tournament to crown the first ever USWA Unified World Champion. This tournament will be a 16 man single elimination tournament to crown the first ever champion. Here are the list of the men taking part in each tournament:
USWA Unified World Heavyweight Title Tournament:
J.T. Royal Kerry Storm Fuller Nelson Admiral Amstel Eric Adonis Scrapyard Dog Popeye Mulligan War Hawk R.B.I. Shane Stud Road Rage Kamala Hubris Atlas Stone H.T. Mahoney JJ Strife
USWA World Tag Team Title Tournament:
Cajun Patriots (Desertmarine and Firestopper) Rocket Riot Express (Ricky Riot and Robby Rocket) Midnight Dynamite (Bobby Bomb and Stan Manley) The Galactics (Neutron and Proton) Regal Roos (Mad Jack and Wild Bill) Demolition Derby (Danny Demo and Scott Derby) ZDL (Disturbed Youth and Shane Stud) Weapons of Mass Destruction (Blast Blasterson and Maxx Damage)
Konishoner: Good luck to everyone taking part in these tournaments.

USWA Special Report:
USWA Unified World Heavyweight Champion Admiral Amstel is backstage.
Amstel: When the plane first landed in Memphis, TN, I thought they had brought me to a third world country. Memphis is a dump and I wouldn't be bothering with such a pit if they weren't paying me a lot of money. The same for Dallas. I hear Dallas is a bunch of rednecks with money that think they aren't rednecks anymore. The USWA tried to sell me on the idea of heritage and tradition. They told me that the Jarrett/Lawler Sports Complex is a tribute to the Mid-South Coliseum. Well, if the Mid-South Coliseum was as low rent and run down as the Sports Complex then Memphis Wrestling was put out of it's misery. Let me just reiterate for you hillbillies, rednecks and degenerates out there... I do not want to be spending my time in Memphis or Dallas. That's why I plan to take full advantage of the 30 day champion clause in the USWA bylaws. I will defend this belt once every 30 days to satisfy the USWA but nothing more. I will be in exotic locales spending the money that the USWA was so generous with. So Kerry Storm, J.T. Royal, Scrapyard Dog or anyone else looking to get a shot at this belt... just hold tight and be patient because title shots are going to be a rarity.

This is very exciting! I’m interested in the contract system you’re using...I’ve wanted to do something similar but haven’t had the time to research. Thanks for sharing!

USWA Special Report:
The Konishoner is behind his desk.
Konishoner: As many of you already know, our current Unified World Heavyweight Champion Admiral Amstel is refusing to defend the belt past the 30 day minimum. We checked with USWA lawyers to see if this is in violation of the bylaws spirit and if he could be striped of the championship. Our lawyers have informed us that Admiral Amstel is behaving in good faith and this particular bylaw was created to protect champions from having promoters arbitrarily forcing them to vacate their championships and the extra money that comes with that. So with that said, Admiral Amstel is the USWA Unified World Heavyweight Champion and he is considered to be in good standing with the USWA. He has 30 days from his victory date to defend his championship in the Dallas or Memphis regions. We are providing him with contracts for the top challengers in both areas and we will see who he decides to put the belt up against.
Thank you.
