This is a project that I originally was intending to do when I decided to begin posting, but I wasn't sure how I was going to do everything, and the idea I had for the SCFL seemed easier. However, since the SCFL was up to the Tag Team League, I figure it is a good time to take a break from it and start a new project. Here are the specifics of this project:
1) Initially there will be two divisions of 5 teams each. Each team will battle the other teams in their division once.
2) The teams are comprised of 2 men's single wrestlers, a tag team and a woman wrestler. A wrestler or tag team will be designated as the team captain(s).
3) Each Warfare show, there are three scheduled matches and a standby match. Whoever wins match 1 will earn their team 2 points. Whoever wins match 2 will earn their team 4 points. Whoever wins match 3 will earn 6 points. Whatever team has the most points, wins. If the teams are tied after three matches, the standby match will happen and whoever wins, wins Warfare for their team. This does mean that potentially wrestlers may be sitting out multiple shows depending on how the randomization goes (see #4). NOTE: I stole this idea from Face to the Mat after watching Steve Tower and Keith play with these rules on Steve's After Further Review Youtube channel (and after purchasing that, I started purchasing Go Fight Pow! and COTG Online cards after watching toasterboy play on his Solo Promoter channel).
4) Who fights in what position on a Warfare show is totally random. See the chart I am using in the next post for this.
5) At the end of season, there are several things that happen. First, there will be a show called Battlelines (sorry, stealing the name of the next set as my show title, unless I think of something catchier). The top team in each division will face off against each other for the TRP Top Team Trophy. Standings in the divisions are determined by wins and losses, with first tiebreaker points and second tiebreaker head-to-head. Second, there are separate standings for individual wrestlers and teams. Initially, the top 2 male wrestlers regardless of division will face off for the TRP Championship. The next 2 male competitors will face off for the TRP Heritage Championship. The top 2 tag teams will face off for the TRP Tag Team Championship, and the top 2 women will face off for the TRP Womens Championship. In subsequent Battlelines shows, the top male in individual standings who is not the champ will get a shot at the TRP Championship, the second-place male will get a shot at the Heritage Championship, and the top tag team and woman who are not champions will fight for their respective titles.
6) After Battlelines but before the next Warfare show, each team will roll on the Next Season chart (see below) to see what happens to their team. Anything can happen...people leave to for their own team, teams quit the league, wrestlers leave, etc. See the chart below.
These rules may be updated for clarity or if I run across a situation where the rules need to change.
