The newer version of Bobcat Jack is a big time upgrade from his OG card. He is tough. Which Varsity are you using, his new card or his OG card?

I really love how the mechanics of some of the newer cards make for unique match types. You basically have to jump Bobcat early in a match or you're toast, and for Varsity the "reversal" mechanic has lead to some really fun matches for me.

Tournament Results Semi-finals:
Varsity defeats Americus via P.C.D. Bobcat Jack defeats Rykezilla via RAGING BRUTALITY Recap: Varsity vs Americus was an old school grappling match- looking forward to a rematch down the line as this was a technical clinic. Rykezilla put up a strong effort but the IFC original just wasnt going to lose. So with that, the finals are set- Varsity vs Bobcat Jack, with the winner becoming the first ever Top Deck Champion. A full "stacked" card will be announced in the next day or so. Our first official card, with the main event to crown the TOP DECK CHAMPION, will be coming soon...

Our tournament to crown the first TOP DECK CHAMPION concludes tonight with a fully STACKED card that will feature the first traditional format Commissioner Doc Wyatt laid out when dreaming up the TDFC. Here are the matches for the show...
Card #6: Stack Elimination: Bubba James vs War Hawk Mr. Grappling vs Scrapeyard Dog Fuller Nelson vs Chris De Flames #1 Contender: Rykezilla vs Americus Tournament Final: Varsity vs Bobcat Jack
And, here are the results: War Hawk defeats Bubba James via WAR DANCE Scrapyard Dog defeats Mr Grappling via THE HEAP Fuller Nelson defeats Chris De Flames via Clothesline Americus defeats Rykezilla via AMERICUS TOE HOLD Bobcat Jack defeats Varsity via TKO (FF) NEW CHAMP
Recap: Former tournament number 1 seed War Hawk avoids elimination from the deck by beating Bubba James fairly convincingly. Both SYD and Fuller Nelson jumped up the rankings, while Americus earning the first shot at the newest champ BOBCAT JACK, who shocked the world with a Fast Forward TKO on Varsity to win the tournament and belt!
As per the rules- Bubba James has been released from his contract and will enter the free agent pool. The remaining losers from tonight enter a random drawing to see who will have to fight elimination against a new entry into the fold. Facing elimination next card will be... VARSITY!!!!
Card #7: Stack Elimination: Crimson Mask (DEBUT) vs Varsity Powermonger vs Rick Raven Don Nathan vs Bahama Bull #1 Contender: Great Scott vs Shane Stud Top Stack Championship: Americus vs Bobcat Jack

I really enjoy this concept. It keeps things fresh. Jack seems to be running roughshod over people in multiple places.

I'm really enjoying your concept here.
Bad luck that Varsity did so well in the tournament but now faces elimination due to his loss in the tournament final.
Pulling for Varsity, Rick Raven, Bahama Bull, Great Scott, and Bobcat Jack - and STILL!
Keep up the great work!

Thank you both! Really happy folks seem to be enjoying the format, we'll see if I can keep the momentum up now that the initial tournament is over...

With the tournament behind us, we now move on to our first "traditional" card, with our champ defending and another highly ranked talent facing elimination from The Deck...
Card #7: Stack Elimination: Crimson Mask (DEBUT) vs Varsity Powermonger vs Rick Raven Don Nathan vs Bahama Bull #1 Contender: Great Scott vs Shane Stud Top Stack Championship: Americus vs Bobcat Jack
And, here are the results:
Crimson Mask defeats Varsity via EL PRADO SLEEPER Rick Raven defeats Powermonger via RAVENS FLIGHT Don Nathan defeats Bahama Bull via KNEE DROP Great Scott defeats Shane Stud via UFO Bobcat Jack defeats Americus via RAGING BRUTALITY for his first defense!
Recap: In a shocker of an opener, Varsity was eliminated by the debuting Crimson mask in a bloody affair. Rick Raven and Don Nathan put on impressive mid deck performances, and Great Scott looked dominant defeating Shane Stud to earn the next shot at the Top Deck Championship. In the main event, Americus gave Bobcat Jack everything he could handle, but the champ stayed poised enough to recover and eventually pull out the win. As per the rules- Varsity has been released from his contract and will enter the free agent pool. The random drawing of the remaining losers to determine who will face elimination on the next card resulted in... POWERMONGER.
Debuting on the next card to face Powermonger will be IFC Original... Yoko Ohno!!!! Card #8: Stack Elimination: Yoko Ohno (DEBUT) vs Powermonger Mr Grappling vs Chris De Flames Mr Excellent vs Billion Dollar Brawler #1 Contender: Super Beast vs Star Blazer Top Stack Championship: Great Scott vs Bobcat Jack

Went 3-2 on my picks last time.
This time going with: Yoko, not sure Chris De Flames has another win in him so I'll go with Mr. Grappling, Mr. Excellent (even though I really like Billion Dollar Brawler), Star Blazer and Super Beast should be a very good fight - I'll go with Super Beast, even though I really want Star Blazer to win. Finally I'm going against the expectation and picking Great Scott to upset Bobcat Jack. Great Scott has this ability to weather the storm and pull out a win.
Really good stuff sir! Keep up the good work!

Another stacked card sees an original debut, a few contenders looking to climb the deck, and a main event fight that could be the champs toughest challenge to date...
Card #8: Stack Elimination: Yoko Ohno (DEBUT) vs Powermonger Mr Grappling vs Chris De Flames Mr Excellent vs Billion Dollar Brawler #1 Contender: Super Beast vs Star Blazer Top Stack Championship: Great Scott vs Bobcat Jack And, here are the results:
Powermonger defeats Yoko Ohno via MONEY SHOT Mr Grappling defeats Chris De Flames via HAWKEYE HOTSHOT Mr Excellent defeats Billion Dollar Brawler via DQ (PMI PUNCH) Super Beast defeats Star Blazer via CHOUJYU KNEE DROP Bobcat Jack defeats Great Scott via RAGING BRUTALITY for his second defense! Recap: IFC OG Yoko Ohno suffered from a string of dirty tactics, and Powermonger hung on to keep his spot in The Deck. "The Misters" both took care of business to climb the rankings, and Super Beast earned a title shot with a fairly one sided stomping of Star Blazer. In the main event, Great Scott worked a good back and forth match with the champ but couldn't seem to get the pinfall, which only seemed to power up Jack to where a huge Raging Brutality would be enough to give him another title defense. As per the rules- Yoko Ohno has failed to win his entry match and will return to the free agent pool. The random drawing of the remaining losers to determine who will face elimination on the next card resulted in... Chris De Flames.
Debuting on the next card to face Chris De Flames will be another IFC Original... Rocky!!!!
Card #9 Stack Elimination: Rocky (DEBUT) vs Chris De Flames Shane Stud vs Americus Kerry Storm vs Mr Excellent #1 Contender: Rey Mascarus vs Chapeltec Top Stack Championship: Super Beast vs Bobcat Jack

3-2 again on my picks. Really thought Great Scott had the juice to beat Jack.
For next time: Rocky, Americus, Kerry Storm, Rey Mascarus & Bobcat Jack.
This fed gets more interesting by the week. Keep up the good stuff!

The Top Deck Fight Club returns for another night of action featuring a main event where Fire Island legend Super Beast tries to dethrone the undefeated champion, IFC Original Bobcat Jack...
Card #9: Stack Elimination: Rocky (DEBUT) vs Chris De Flames Shane Stud vs Americus Kerry Storm vs Mr Excellent #1 Contender: Rey Mascarus vs Chapeltec Top Stack Championship: Super Beast vs Bobcat Jack
And, here are the results:
Chris De Flames defeats Rocky via Top Self Americus defeats Shane Stud via AMERICUS TOE HOLD Mr Excellent defeats Kerry Storm via PERPLEXED Chapeltec defeats Rey Mascaras via Neck Wringer Choke Bobcat Jack defeats Super Beast via Fast Forward KO for his third defense! Recap: Another IFC Original debut, another IFC Original sent packing, as Chris De Flames came out aggressive and quickly (to the dismay of the fans) sent Rocky packing out of the Top Deck roster as fast as he came in. Mr Excellent strung together another win, and Americus began his quest at another title shot. Chapeltec used his vast size advantage to wear down the smaller lucha and claim the next shot at the belt, while Bobcat Jack again defended the title with extreme dominance. Super Beast spent more time walking to the ring than he did inside it. As per the rules- Rocky has failed to win his entry match and will return to the free agent pool. The random drawing of the remaining losers to determine who will face elimination on the next card resulted in... Super Beast.
Debuting on the next card to face Super Beast will be none other than... Thunder Rechs!!!!
Card #10 Stack Elimination: Thunder Rechs (DEBUT) vs Super Beast Billion Dollar Brawler vs Star Blazer Mr Grappling vs War Hawk #1 Contender: Scrapyard Dog vs Senator Ichiban Top Stack Championship: Bobcat Jack (c) vs Chapeltec

Another Top of the Deck card to see who sits on top of the stack. Bobcat has been running through all challengers, but he faces his (literally) biggest yet as he takes on Chapeltec in the main event. Meanwhile we see the debut of the super dangerous Thunder Rechs, who gets thrown the always dangerous Super Beast in the Elimination Match...
Card #10 Stack Elimination: Thunder Rechs (DEBUT) vs Super Beast Billion Dollar Brawler vs Star Blazer Mr Grappling vs War Hawk #1 Contender: Scrapyard Dog vs Senator Ichiban Top Stack Championship: Bobcat Jack (c) vs Chapeltec And, here are the results: Thunder Rechs defeats Super Beast via T-RECHS STRETCH Billion Dollar Brawler defeats Star Blazer via PMI PUNCH Mr Grappling defeats War Hawk via HAWKEYE HAMMER Scrapyard Dog defeats Senator Ichiban via THE HEAP Chapeltec defeats Bobcat Jack via Chapeledge NEEEEEW CHAMPION
Recap: Not a good day for the old guard, with the likes of War Hawk, Senator Ichiban, and Super Beast all falling in action. The biggest upset of them all was without a doubt Chapeltec shocking the world and defeating the reigning champ Bobcat Jack to claim the title of Top Deck Champ for himself. Oddly, Commissioner Doc Wyatt did not invoke the rematch rule to give fans another crack at this entertaining main event. When asked after the show, Doc simply cackled and said "No, we'll move on to someone else." As per the rules- Super Beast has had his contract terminated and will return to the free agent pool. The random drawing of the remaining losers to determine who will face elimination on the next card resulted in... Star Blazer.
Debuting on the next card to face Star Blazer will be none other than... Glen Hackson!!!!
Current rankings have been updated in the first post
Card #11 Stack Elimination: Glen Hackson (DEBUT) vs Star Blazer Thunder Rechs vs War Hawk Mr Grappling vs Sundog Spot #1 Contender: Soda City Slugger vs Mega Power Top Stack Championship: Chapeltec (c) vs Scrapyard Dog
