IRON MAN FIGHT This fight is 60 minutes in duration, and consists of 60 successfully completed strikes. A successful strike is one that results in a defensive result (Hit, Block, Dodge, or POP). In the event of a REVERSAL, the series is not completed until a defensive result occurs. Keep track of the number of POP attempts that each fighter makes during the fight. Also, keep track of the number of times that a fighter hits his/her FINISHER. After 60 successfully completed strikes, the fighter with the lowest number of POP attempts is declared the winner. In the event of a tie, the fight goes to a judge's decision: Judge 1 awards the fight to the fighter with the highest number of offensive strikes. Judge 2 awards the fight to the fighter that hit the highest number of FINISHERS. Judge 3 awards the fight to the fighter that landed the last offensive strike. Even though I don't watch MMA, I've wanted to see something with judges / unanimous decision implemented in this game.

This seems like a good idea. Has anyone used this mechanic?

This seems like a good idea. Has anyone used this mechanic? It's not really a mechanic, but in my fed, my Kombat Championship is held under MMA rules. 3 rounds, 99 seconds in real time, and I pay very close attention to matches to see who was best that round, and do a 3-judge scoring accordingly.
