You are not alone in this...I've been working on this as well. Here is what I have so far:
Any time RUMBLE RATING is rolled, the third card attacks.
D6 1-2: Fighter on Offense 3-4: Fighter on Defense 5-6: Choice
Any time a POP roll is failed, and POWER PLAY also fails, the third fighter can try to make a save.
D6 1-3: Fight ends as normal. 4-5: Save is made. Fighter on offense continues on offense against fighter that made the save. 6: Save is made. Fighter making the save takes over on offense against the fighter that was on offense.
Thoughts?

Kicked a couple of random matches...works well really add something to the ebb & flow of play...the "quick" changes seem organic not forced. Paige d. Rykezilla & Chloe GamesMaster d. Mistress of Dance & Chika Boom

This looks great. I've often wondered about 3 way rules too. Thanks for this, gonna try it out next event.

This definitely looks good. ECW in the day was popular for this approach and I believe that it will work for this game as well.

If I get the time, it'll be on pay-per-view in my league.

We need to get a printable document of all our matches and have Eric pick ones we can coin official.

I've only used these rules sparingly, but my recent bookings I've added it a bit more. The fight between the UK Bruiser, Rykezilla & Varsity was a really fun one. I do like this fight...

I use this with elimination rules, but the match works both ways.

I just cannot get behind the d8. It just doesn't feel right. For Rumble Rating or after POP saves I use: 1d6 1-3 Fighter on Offense 4-5 Fighter on Defense 6 Duos Finisher

I just had a thought: I think this can be extended to a 4-person match with a roll before the ones for Rumble Rating and saves. Odd could go to the first unused fighter, even for the second.
