2060 AD - Wrestling and MMA are no longer a separate sports as they have combined into a sport simply known as Fight Club. First, Fight Club promotions have opened up across the world and now with the advancements in space and time travel, there are now Fight Clubs across the galaxy. The largest and most well-known Fight Club is the Intergalactic Fight Club (IFC) which is based on a planet called the Nil Zone. The IFC promises only the best fighters and uses guardians called Sentinels to filter out the pretenders so that only the best of the best can get in and achieve IFC Immortality.
2070 AD - A young rookie fighter known as Powermonger has taken the IFC by storm as he bursts on the scene with 24 consecutive wins but the IFC Higher Powers refuse to give him a title shot as they sense if Powermonger becomes IFC Champion, it would lead to the downfall of the IFC. Powermonger quits IFC on the spot and vows revenge.
2073 AD - Powermonger opens an IFC show and announces that he has purchased IFC and is now the sole-owner of the company and books himself into a title match against champion Torro. Powermonger defeats Torro to become IFC Champion. Powermonger announces his revenge against the Higher Powers by issuing a challenge for any fighter that wants to challenge him for the title, they will have to face and defeat the Elite Eight before they prove themselves worthy for a title shot.....but if they lose at all, they are sent back to The Void. Every member of the IFC takes the challenge and every single one fails. With no other fighters to take the call, Powermonger crowns himself Champion of the Cosmos and shuts down the IFC and thus proving the prophecy of the Higher Power to be true.
2089 AD - The Sentinels remained active during the closure as they searched for the next wave of talent to challenge Powermonger and the Elite Eight. After assembling a pool of 16 fighters, a mysterious group known as the Elder Council (thought to be the children of the original Higher Powers) appeal to the business side of Powermonger. They propose that he re-opens IFC and he still will remain the champion. They also propose that he brings back his original Elite Eight guardians as well with the original stipulations intact (if someone fails the challenge, they are sent to The Void). Powermonger accepts the proposal. The IFC is re-opened and will have its first show at the beginning of 2090.

A few quick notes:
- The Second Generation of fighters will be from the official Go.Fight.Pow cards that we all know and love along with a few that were sent to me (Style G.S.Lyle, The American Sheik & Sam Dunk).
- The IFC will consist of Power Monger and the Elite Eight consisting of Black Jack, Grim, Lionheart, Mega Power, Red Cyclone, Rykezilla, Soldier Ant and Torn plus the sixteen starting fighters selected by the Sentinels (which in reality will be determined at random)
- All other fighters that are not in the IFC are assumed to be actively fighting in "indys" or will be in The Void
- Each IFC TV show will consist of six televised matches. One of the matches will be a tag match. One of the matches will be an Elite Eight Challenge match. The other four matches will be singles matches.
- Each IFC PPV, will have 8 matches. The format mentioned above will be the same. The extra two matches will be Sentinel Proving Ground matches where if a fighter can defeat (or impress) the Sentinels, they will earn a IFC developmental contract. The developmental contract essentially means that these fighters will be the ones who will fill up any openings in the IFC roster due to fighters going into The Void or storyline injuries.
That is all of the things I can think of as of now. I will post more if I forgot anything. I will announce the initial IFC roster soon and get some results going ASAP.
