Last night, I was asked by Dustin how T'Ga's PURE INSANITY mechanic worked. Today, I decided that I could make something dedicated to how each special mechanic in the game is functioned.
*Multiple Ratings: Some fighters have multiple FINISHER, POP, Fast Forward, and Power Play Ratings. Simply put, it adds another number to go for or avoid, depending on what rating it is. For fighters with 2 FINISHER Ratings, the re-roll rule for Negative does not apply, due to the Positive fighter having an advantage.
*ODD/EVEN FINISHER Rating (as seen in Ricky Stallion's QUEEN CITY LOCK): Finisher Rating are the numbers applied to the word (ODD being 1, 3, and 5, EVEN being 2, 4, and 6.) If one of the FINISHER numbers matches a POP, there is no re-roll, due to the Positive fighter having an advantage.
*0 Fast Forward (as seen on Knuckles Sanvich): Fighter does not get a Fast Forward attempt, but still rolls on initiative to see if they get to go first.
*DQ Rating on Negative (as seen on Trixster, T'Ga): An illegal defensive mechanism that only works when the number is rolled. If the number fails, opponent continues on Positive. If the number is rolled, the match ends in a disqualification, no Power Play attempt is made.
*DQ Moves on Positive (as seen in DisGrace's UFO moves): Illegal actions that, if the number is rolled, the match ends in a disqualification, with no Power Play attempt made. If the roll fails, assume the illegal action is not seen, and opponent rolls on Negative.
*April Fool's Post-Match Shenanigans: A rule written in her bio, if she loses a fight, roll two D6, and if the result is doubles, re-start the match.
*Gran Cazador's Post-Match Unmasking: A rule written into his bio, if, after he wins against a masked fighter, you roll a 6 after the match, he will unmask the fighter.
*Re-Roll (as seen in Argyle Gargoyle's Plasma Eye Blast): If a move with (re-roll) is rolled, simply roll again on Positive for that fighter, as they are immediately following up that move with another. Continue re-rolling if the move is hit multiple times in succession.
*The Wrecker's FINGER STRIKE: Only re-roll the first time the move hits in a match-up.
*Pat Crase's Headbutt: For this move, if opponent rolls the number specified, match ends due to stoppage.
*Rebound!(as seen on Nikita Koloff & Cosmic Nightmare): Roll again, and if Rebound! number is met, fighter hits their FINISHER, and play continues with that fighter on Positive, if the opponent avoids POP. Otherwise, play continues as normal. This is also the same with Showstopper's name reversal on 2.
*Roll on Both (as seen with T'Ga's PURE INSANITY): Both fighters roll this number, and if one or both reach the number, the match ends via disqualification or no contest respectively. Otherwise, the fighter with the move in question continues on Positive, as if it was a regular POP escape.
