INTRODUCTION On the live feed of the IFC's Fight Pass, during a repeat showing of an episode of the mini-documentary "Dissecting the Sectors" which covers the Mid Atlantis region, the screen goes to static. When it returns, the live feed now shows a first person perspective of someone walking around Mr. Uno's casino, and entering the back door. After going down a dark flight of stairs, the cameraman approaches a bouncer guarding the only door in the basement area. The bouncer simply nods, and opens the door to the cameraman, who enters the room. The room is dimly lit and smokey, as dozens of rampant fans are cheering on a fight going on in the middle of the room. The fight is taking place inside of a dilapidated wrestling ring, with a tattered canvas that has no matting over the wood, no ring skirt, no turnbuckle pads on the corners, and no kind of covering on the ropes, leaving them bare. The cameraman walks through a gate in the barricade, putting him in the ringside area, as it shows the fight better, which is contested between two completely unknown fighters, while also showing the crowd going absolutely crazy, with everyone banging on or slamming the barricades against the floor. The cameraman then goes through another barricade gate, and makes his way to a small elevated platform, with three people watching the fight. On a throne is Mr. Uno, championship over one shoulder and a cigar in the opposing hand, and on either side of him, are his bodyguards, X-Tinction. The camera then focuses mainly on Uno as he speaks directly to the viewer. Mr. Uno: Welcome...to my world. The camera then changes to a drone shot showing the entire arena.
The next day, in another broadcast takeover, Mr. Uno, still with his title belt over his shoulder, along with a representative, stand in the middle of the ring in an empty venue. The representative starts reading off a cue card. Uno Rep: On behalf of Mr. Uno, I would like to welcome everyone to the start of Uno Underground. Here, the toughest and most devious fighters from all over will gather to fight for "The Prize." This will be like nothing you have seen before, as in every fight, anything goes. The holder of "The Prize" controls the Underground, and its first champion is recognized as Mr. Uno himself. All title matches will be contested under Blackout Rules, which means the only way to claim "The Prize" is via knockout. All other matches can be won by knockout or submission. The Underground is also run under an open door policy, meaning that anyone may enter, even if they are contracted by any of the other Fight Clubs that are part of the Fight Pass umbrella. Finally, all fights will take place in the Industrial Lands, in this very venue, the basement of Uno's fabulous casino, the Imperial Palace. To all who enter The Underground, let there be bloodshed. Rules of The Underground*No Disqualifications *All fights are contested as normal *All "Prize Fights" are under Blackout Rules *He Who Holds "The Prize" Runs The Underground *Open Door Policy: All fighters welcome, even those under contract (IFC, Smack Network, ICOF, MWFL, even GLITTER)

Hey, everyone. I kinda cleaned up The Underground a bit, getting rid of all story developments regarding the tournaments for the old Powermonger Inc. titles. I did this mainly for more simple building of the world, but I'm also making this likely in the same universe where the Galactic Cataclysm occurred. I'll likely get back to playing this at some point in the future, just need to make the appropriate Sheet(s) for it.

Location: A mansion in Madrid, SpainAt his office, Powermonger is sitting at his desk with a glass of brandy, looking out the massive window behind him with a view of his massive estate, when someone knocks on his door. Powermonger: Enter. In enters Gold Usher, who, because of the Galactic Cataclysm, had not been outed as PMI's mole, and Eradicator, who had been fighting in The Underground in both of its cards thus far. Powermonger: How is the recon going? Anything to report? Usher: Yes. Now, before I divulge anything, you're absolutely certain you want to re-establish yourself in that garbage dump of a Sector? Powermonger: Usher. You need to understand something. There's a little incident that's well-known in the Lost Sectors, called "The Attempt." Because I was never willed the IFC by my father, I attempted a hostile takeover of the Mid Atlantis, with the plan to trample over the other Sectors to create one travelling fight club. Obviously, it failed miserably, and I became a target for the Galactic Regulatory Commission that runs the Sectors. Usher: And they don't oversee the Industrial Lands. Some of the populace told me about the mayor fleeing after scandals were uncovered, which led to the Lands becoming what it is today. Powermonger: So if I wish to rule over the whole of Terra-3, I need to start somewhere. Powermonger looks at the Time Gem Belt mounted on his wall. Powermonger: Right now, the Time Gems are weak after the Galactic Cataclysm. They still need time to recharge. But if I possess "The Prize," and I have the Time Gem's power, there will be no stopping me from controlling Terra-3, and bring back the IFC in my image. Usher: Very well. Powermonger: Now, the intel. Usher: Yes. Here's what I found out:
Industrial Lands ExpandedUsher: As it turns out, it's not just the below ground floor of "The Imperial Palace" where fights take place in the Underground. There are a lot of other locations that, while more used for special matches, are well-known to the federation. We've got:
"The Alley" is an abandoned alleyway in the outskirts of the city, in what they call "The Badlands." This is where Street Brawls take place, a match type where you use the elements (stop signs, the bus stop bench, the brick walls) to beat your opponent.
"The Drop" is a five foot concrete platform held aloft by construction girders. It's what remains of a factory explosion that occurred years ago, and the structure so happened to make for a perfect location for Ring Out Brawls. These are where you must throw your opponent off, and they cannot respond by the count of 10. At ground level are platforms that can bring the figher back to the top if they pull a rope to ring the bell mounted in the four corners of the platform.
"The Cell" is the Underground name for the abandoned county lock-up nearby that Uno staged the riot that got him Warzone to join his group. The prison yard is the host for different Cage Matches. Because the tops are razor-wired, fighters must escape through a hole in the ground to win.
"The Dojo" is an abandoned karate studio famous for The Kumite. It's like any standard Gauntlet ever hosted across any fight club anywhere else, but it's a brawl that you can only win by knocking out your opponent.
"The Power Plant" is just that: an abandoned power plant. Some live wires nearby landed on the fencing nearby. Because of this, the Underground sometimes hold Shock Brawls, where you are able to throw your opponent into the electric fencing.
"The Grave" is the Underground name for the nearby cemetery held outside the big city. Feuds here that have reached a certain level are taken here for Graveyard Matches, where you literally bury your opponent alive in a shallow grave.
"The Court" is an abandoned basketball court where the baskets were removed, and a roof was rigged up with additional fencing held up and together by twist ties. A more violent Survival Through Combat is hosted here called Blood and Steel. You leave the cage when you win, but here, weapons are strewn about the walls and floor of the court.
"The Pit" is an abandoned boxing gym. Here, the Pit Fight is king. The ring at this location is devoid of ropes and corners, with a special cage built around it. This cage has no doors, and has a special platform that the fighters can climb up to brawl on or jump off of. To win this, you must knock out or submit your opponent within the confines of the cage; you cannot win on the platform.
Usher: This is what we have so far. Intel is still ongoing, and there's always the possibility of new areas being used for more brutal fights.
Powermonger: Impressive stuff. You're dismissed.
Usher leaves the mansion, and makes a phone call.
Big Kat Bryan: Hey, Bret. What's up? Got anything on Powermonger?
Usher: He's planning his comeback in the Underground circuit. He's looking to enact a second Attempt on the Sectors, using both "The Prize" and the soon-to-be restored power of the Time Gem Belt to make another invasion, and unify the sectors, and make one fight club: A revived IFC in his image.
BKB: That ain't good. We're probably lookin' at a turf war between Uno and Powermonger. We need to gather our own forces and counteract this.
Usher: Right. For now, though, I have to fight on Tim's side. If I can get "The Prize" myself, then I can make the move over to you guys.
BKB: No problem, man. We'll see you soon.
