Just a question for everybody how often do you rotate fighters in and out of your feds? How many do you bring in and how do you bring them in? Also how many do you rotate out and how often do you take them out? i was thinking for me i would rotate some out at the end of the year and some in the middle of the year.

Over my 20 game year run I've only taken cards out twice with a losers are eliminated for a year storyline, other wise all cards remain in my fed and are used over time when I cycle through each quarter of booking...

Right now I use a core roster with a group of free agents. When the year ends...whoops that's a secret.

Ok, so the question is more on how you book. Oh, I am going to speak in terms of a “wrestling style” fed first, just to be clear. So, it depends on how you book your fed. Do you look at two guys and think they would be a cool feud or this could lead to a series of matches? If yes, then do you look at who else can I attach to either wrestler as part of this feud that may lead to a branch off feud or storyline? If the answer is yes to all of that then the question is do you then look to see where either wrestler goes at the end of the feud? This is an opportunity to either cycle a guy out for a short time or just adjust his level. This is also a good way to introduce new talent into the mix. Injury angles are always an option. Mystery partner is another way to bring guys into a higher spot as well. It is more about feel then number of months. If you are always working off the feel of when to cool guys off and when to debut new guys, you will never really notice how many guys have come and gone. Plus if a guy leaves, the comeback can often be huge. This is how I have always seen successful wrestling, real or fantasy, work the best. now, if you want to run a fighter / mma style is is all wins and loses. 1 lose may not hurt a guy too much, but in the mma world if you are losing too much you are out on your ear. And there is always another fighter who wants your spot. This is easy to turn over rosters on a continuous basis. New meat in, dead meat out. Look at UFC, they have their top stars, but are always looking for the next one. It’s all wins and losses. hope that helped.

Depends. A guy might stick around forever, other guys might do an angle and leave. I kind of just stop using guys.

Right now, my main stuff has 3 men's promotions: IFC, Ring of Power and Tim Rocket Promotions.
The IFC is admittedly more rigid due to it being a promotion full of all superteams, so going into the IFC means either being slotted into a pre-existing team or come in AS a team. Examples I have coming up is Mr. Tea being slotted into Mad Hatters, a team headed by Tick Tock, and I'm planning on bringing Strong Style Society in as a whole. People often leave IFC the same way, like TKO leaving after being kicked out of D.U.S.T., led by Hubris, and the Four Hordesmen and Royal Family (group of kingly gimmicks that I think kinda flopped) all going to Ring of Power from IFC.
Ring of Power and Tim Rocket Promotions are more normal in roster structure, so it just comes down to better fits and probably more use out of one brand over the other.

After a certain time I will have a Redemption PPV. Basically it's a tourney for all fighters with losing records. All losers get kicked out for a bit and the winner not only stays but gets a title shot.
