So on my Ring of Power, I'm going to try out some new things, the biggest one being a Duos Battle Royal. With the way I conceptualized this, it will work similarly to a normal Battle Royal, but with a few other things. Now, with the help of a visual aid, here are the rules: *Laying your Duos out like this, you roll a D6 for each person the Runners line up with. So in this instance, Ojo De Fuego faces Ricky Riot, and Road Crash X faces Robby Rocket. *Like normal, a failed POP and Power Play is an elimination. However, a Duo is eliminated when both members are gone from the match. This can, and will, lead to some 2v1 situations. *If 2 Runners face a singular person, they both roll against the sole person. However, if, after POP fails, the solo person rolls Power Play on either die, they survive. *If a solo Runner goes up against a full Duo, they still roll against both people as normal, and could possibly eliminate both in one go. *Before any roll, you can swap the positions of the Runners (in this instance, you can make it so RCX is on top, and ODF is on bottom before the next team comes out, and vice versa, whenever you want.) *Much like with a normal Battle Royal, use the Finisher rating on Positive (instead of any Duos Finish listed as an * on the bottom)

So I ran this finally, the event post will be created tomorrow (still have the Red Surrender Match to roll out, since this and the Five Way Fray ran VERY long) and here's some notes on it:
This match ran pretty long. Mainly due to me doing a 20-Team Battle Royal, which went pretty much like this: Roll top, then roll bottom. Any eliminations went into a separate pile from the survivors. I also had to jot down any eliminations, both for the single competitor and the Duo if both ever get eliminated (and in typical JJ Strife fashion, I miscounted somewhere and had to edit my mistake.)
To elaborate a bit more on that first part, with the 2v1 stuff, since I roll top then bottom, using the picture as an example, if Ricky Riot was eliminated by Ojo De Fuego, you still roll Road Crash X vs. Robbie Rocket. You don't do the 2v1 stuff until either the Runner is 1 person or 1 person is encountered against a Duo Runner.
Honestly, despite how long it ran, it definitely works with the Battle Royal rules already in place.
