I was looking at the card that has 6 managers on it and for the life of me can't remember how/when you use them. Can someone help refresh my memory?

First, you can use the chart on each managers options twice during a fight and second I use it when the managers fighter is on defense, most are written where the fighter is on defense, but that is my take on when you roll the charts...

Moreover, another question: For the DQ ratings, are THOSE ranged (1 to 4) or no (1 and 4)?

I would think it is 1 & 4, but I could be wrong. Most cards do not have that big a range (67% chance of DQ), but I am not certain. So the wrestler cards uses dots to separate the numbers however The The Konishoner card uses range. I used my phone to take a pic and blow up the six managers card as I could not see the difference on the print (I use to have 20/20 vision near sight). They are range too.
For this reason it would be good to get full size manager versions of them individually with ability on the back or a larger manager chart that has a summary of all the abilities. I would not mind a set focused on managers, valets etc. I totally agree with the a larger card idea

Don’t hold me to that, bc I may be wrong. I just seem to remember the idea of getting us a bunch together without having to print them out as individual cards so we had them to use. I know in “another game” when say a 10 card set has a manger or referee or valet card I always felt like it is a waste bc they cost the same to make and that is one less card that will be used. The same way that that 10 card set would feature the same wrestler that already had a card and the “new” card would not be that different then what existed already. An upgrade or character change, 100% welcome, but when it is just different art and pretty much the same basic set up then ugh! But what do I know, I am just a guy who plays all these games “wrong” and whatever. I mean, it’s not like I have dropped you know hundreds of dollars on sets that literally will sit in a box bc I have no desire to read charts all day. But I better stop before I really start something….

I think the occasional full sized one for special guys would be okay. It would be kind of like the Deck of Heck. When we were discussing getting different boot cards made of it, it appeared not many were interested. That said I've been making boots and i tried to do a full sized one. I like it, but yeah overall I like multiple to one card.

If there is a call for it, awesome and I will be there to help it succeed. I just know that if given the choice with commissioning artwork for a new wrestler card or a new manager card, I will always pick a new wrestler over a manager. That’s just me, others may feel different.

The commission would probably be more but there isn't anything saying you couldn't include manager text (if not much of course) on the fighter card. If we are talking about chart like cards I'd probably rather have special match cards or DoH cards. *edit: When thinking about it more a manager only set would make more sense in the future after so many were released and out of print. I still like the 6 in 1 card. More "bang for buck" so to speak. But if wanting to reprint I could see making individual cards for such a set.

You are a long standing rock solid pillar of the community always going above and beyond contributing and encouraging. I did not mention but figured Werner had made the original 'six' as full size art commission before they were shrunk, and if replication was allowed(ie ownership) - therefore so can be reproduced as full size versions. Forget a dedicated manager set you are right it would not perform well. I guess I was thinking outside my scope.
I don't think he was offended. I think it was more him commenting on past experiences with other similar games. Which I get as some of these games can eat up a lot of money. Fighter cards I can do multiple things. Switch between territories/go after different belts. Managers are one trick ponies in games like this. Not bad, just not as versatile.

No offense taken. Trust me, it takes a ton to offend me and If I was, I would have talked in private not in general forum. There are guys here who know the “plays the game wrong” reference and this is not even close to the level of “stuff” that was hurled at me (and others) who were, shall we say, not “always in line with the company” in other places. (Meaning this never happened here) But I am not looking to start that up again. As for the artwork, I don’t know if they were full card artwork or headshots. I did not commission the artwork, so I don’t know. If full size manager cards is something that is produced, I will be here to support GFP just as I have done since day 1. To me, I liked the multi-manager card as it gave us great bang for the buck. The same way the special match cards have the match right there for you and then another on the other side. But that may also have to do with the fact that while I do love the cool artwork we have, I am not a guy where the artwork sells me on a game. I am certainly not looking to read a ton of chats just to have one match, but certain matches need it. Specialty matches with a chart or rule set is 100% on point, as it should be. The more special the match, the less often it is used, I expect to have to use something different and welcome it. But I feel maybe this has all gotten way bigger then the original idea and let’s not belabor the point. Whatever comes down the pipe for GFP, I will support.
