Fire Island Pro Fighting A Brief HistorySeven years ago, a man had a vision. A vision that burns as brightly as the Eternal Flame of Fire Island itself. This man, Senator Ichiban, would create Fire Island Pro Fighting, a fight club that shows the toughness and tenacity of the fighters that enter it, both foreign and domestic. FIPF has seen many great competitors enter its domain, from native talents like Tanah and Kuromisuto, to foreign imports like Ricky Stallion and the Mad Soldiers and everyone in between. Towards the end of Year 5, the Galactic Cataclysm occurred, spreading out the IFC and PMI rosters across Terra-3 and beyond. Currently starting its 7th year, Fire Island begins, as is tradition, with... Grapple Summit VIGrapple Summit has been the big show of Fire Island Pro since entering its second year in business. This stage has seen many grand moments. The first Grapple Summit saw Senator Ichiban claim his second Grand Championship by gaining a measure of revenge against the man that beat him, Rampage. One year later, Ichiban would be upset by Thunder Gold, and we would see R-n-R Connection claim the Duos Championship. Tanah's ascent to potential Ace would begin on the fourth Grapple Summit. Grapple Summit is also the sight of the blood feud that pitted Justice Yuji against Mino Ruski, with the supposed final chapter happening on this installment, with Yuji outlasting Ruski in a brawl.
For the sixth Summit, we begin to see the ascent of the Strong Style Society, a band of brash foreigners with no respect for the traditions of Fire Island. We would see Kenny Manitoba claim the Jr. Heavyweight Championship against Ultra Sanda and the winners of the Supreme Duos League, the Imperial Fighters of Ulrich and Ulysses take down Diamond Exchange to claim the Duos titles. Now, we reach the main event. The winner of the Grand Prix Invitational, the leader of the Strong Style Society, Jay Blade, challenging the Grand Champion, the other potential new Ace of Fire Island, and the company's last chance to keep the Society from a sweep, Reign Man.
Fire Island Pro Grand Championship Reign Man (c) vs. Jay Blade Jay Blade wins (CORDOBA CUTTER) Jay Blade becomes the 10th Grand Champion
The final shot of Grapple Summit VI is all four members of Strong Style Society holding all the gold on Fire Island.

From the Desk of Senator IchibanIchiban: Before I begin with any announcements, I just want to thank our loyal fans for yet another great Grapple Summit. As always, we pride ourselves on making Grapple Summit the biggest and most special events on our calendar, celebrating the past year of existence. Now, without any more delay, I have some announcements ahead of The Dawn. First, the newest graduate to our Young Dragons program will finally leave the Lion's Den and enter the ring, as Ruto Nakasawa will finally make his debut at The Dawn, going one-on-one against another former graduate, and the first of foreign origin, JJ Strife. Also at The Dawn, we will crown a #1 Contender for Jay Blade's Grand Championship as Justice Yuji, capitalizing off his bloody win against Mino Ruski, will face Tanah, the winner will challenge for the title at Daybreak. Another #1 Contender's Match for the Junior Heavyweight Championship will be a special 2-part match with Arcane Dragon, Kuromisuto, Rey Mascaras and Ace Cannon. This match will start as a Duos Match, and the winners will immediately fight in a one-on-one contest and the winner will face Kenny Manitoba at Daybreak. The Duos Championship will also have #1 Contenders, but will be contested for at Anniversary of Fire, as we will see the Samoan Hit Squad take on the World Warriors. Daybreak will also play host to a big dream match as Reign Man will face Punk A.D., making his return to Fire Island since losing the Junior Heavyweight Championship to Ultra Sanda at last year's Dynasty event. However, at The Dawn, we will see Reign Man and Punk A.D. team up against Jay Blade and Kenny Manitoba of Strong Style Society in the main event of the evening. Finally, we will have a championship match at The Dawn, which leads to our biggest announcement of the bunch. We have entered into a partnership with the Spice Zone, and will host two tour stops there, one in each arena. As a result, we have control over the Rising Spirit of Nature Championship, currently held by Papa Dhark. He will defend the title in the semi-main event against Katsuro. Thank you for your time, and I hope to see all of you watching at The Dawn. The Dawn Marquee Matches Ruto Nakasawa vs. JJ Strife Duos Contendership Match Samoan Hit Squad vs. World Warriors Junior Heavyweight Contendership Match Double or Nothing Match Arcane Dragon vs. Kuromisuto vs. Rey Mascaras vs. Ace Cannon Grand Contendership Match Justice Yuji vs. Tanah Rising Spirit of Nature Championship Papa Dhark (c) vs. Katsuro Main Event Reign Man & Punk A.D. vs. Jay Blade & Kenny Manitoba

The Dawn Year: 7A Brief HistoryThe Dawn was an apt name for the beginning of Fire Island Pro, as it was the first ever event for the promotion. Headlined by a one-night single-elimination tournament to crown the first Grand Champion, it would be Senator Ichiban, the league's founder, toppling Vincitor to become the first champion, though his reign would not last for long. Since the inception of Grapple Summit, The Dawn has moved on to become a glimpse of what's to come in the future of the current year, the show's previous spot going to Anniversary of Fire. The lone non-tournament event to be held in Neo-Tokyo Hall just walking distance away from the Indoor Stadium that hosts Grapple Summit, The Dawn is the beginning of "The Sunrise" cycle of shows that span all the way to the Junior Heroes Tournament.
The Dawn has seen the establishment of Number 1 Contenders for some time, with all 3 (before the recent introduction of the Rising SON title) titles seeing top contender's matches, with the Grand and Junior Heavyweight Championships being defended next at the tour's next stop, Daybreak, and the Duos Championships seeing defense as the semi-main event at Anniversary of Fire.

Joe Pro attacks Justice Yuji after the match as he makes his way to the back.
Post-Match Interview Tanah: The last few days have been intense. I managed to get a big win against Chapeltec at Grapple Summit, and now I'm the #1 Contender to face Jay Blade for the Grand Championship. I already beat Kenny at last year's Grapple Summit, and I'll take the title back for Fire Island.
Rising Spirit of Nature Championship Papa Dhark (c) vs. Katsuro Papa Dhark wins via Ultra Zoom Punch First Title Defense for the 1st Rising Spirit of Nature Champion, Papa Dhark
Ravi Shing: What I'd like to have right now, Papa Dhark...is for you to stop running from my challenge, and face me for that Rising SON Championship.
Reign Man/Punk A.D. vs. Strong Style Society Jay Blade def. Reign Man via Forefeit
Strong Style Society stand tall again after a post-match beating of Reign Man and Punk A.D.
Post-Show Speech Blade: People are constantly talking about this power vacuum left open by the old man's retirement, and who's the ace around here. Is it Tanah, is it Reign Man, well how about the guy who's holding the freaking title right now, huh? The Strong Style Society came to take over Fire Island, and Tanah, when we meet at Daybreak, I'm gonna destroy you just like I did Reign Man, and there will be no question who the ace of Fire Island is.
Manitoba: We hold all the gold right now, and there isn't any way we're going to be losing it any time soon. So I suggest you all give up and not even try. But for now, I want to bid everyone adieu. Goodbye, and good...night. BANG!

Daybreak Year: 7A Brief HistoryHeld on Dragon Island, Daybreak continues "The Sunrise" cycle with the first major title defense for the Grand Championship, the first step in a champion's journey for supremacy. However, history has shown that this hurdle has been cleared by the champion more often than not.
On the first Daybreak in Year 2, the debuting War Hawk unsuccessfully challenged Senator Ichiban, who earlier had claimed his 2nd Grand Championship after defeating Rampage at the first Grapple Summit. The next year, with Thunder Gold at the helm after his victory over Ichiban at Grapple Summit II, old rival Matt Action stepped up, only to be beaten as well. Year 4 would see the surprising challenge from Chapeltec against Senator Ichiban's 3rd and final title reign, but also come up short. Fellow ZDL member Sotoka would try his luck the next year against Tanah, with the same result. Vincitor, the man that came up short in the inaugural final match, would befall a similar fate against the 2nd reign of Tanah in Year 6.
While this platform is mainly for the first defense of the Grand Championship, only one other time has the Junior Heavyweight Championship been defended, and that was when Arcane Dragon, after winning the title from Tigre Supremo at Grapple Summit III, defeated Crazy Monkey for his first of 2 defenses as champion.
MatchesRuto Nakasawa vs. Super Beast Super Beast wins via CHOUJYU KNEE DROP
JJ Strife, who accompanied Ruto to the match, stops a post-match attack by Super Beast.
The Sumo Challenge is answered by the Den of Beasts' Ganzorig, accompanied by Professor Kurushimi.
Sumo Challenge Match Yoko Ohno vs. Ganzorig Yoko Ohno wins
Post-Match Interview Ohno: I have proven once again that my sumo is superior. Though I can't help but wonder why Kurushimi came in to watch. Is he attempting to scout me for his Den of Beasts? He can send as many of them as he wishes, the result will be the same.
Diamond Exchange vs. Takama Twins Saaloo Takama def. Haruto via JUMPING KNEE
Post-Match Interview Seeloo: People are talking about the Duos title match at the Anniversary show, but now we've made people talk about us.
Saaloo: We defeated the former Duos Champions, and we lay our claim to the Duos Championship, no matter if it's the Imperial Fighters or the Samoan Hit Squad.
Trios Match Den of Beasts vs. Zone Defender League Chapeltec def. Ojyma via CHAPELEDGE
Reign Man vs. Punk A.D. Reign Man wins via LIGHTNING STRIKE
The two shake hands after an absolutely stunning match.
Post-Match Interview Reign: The stories that have been told of your ability holds true, Punk. You are among the greatest of all literal time. But now my focus is on the Solar Festival and winning the Fire Cup once again. The Grand Championship will be mine again, and my Reign will be eternal.
Fire Island Pro Junior Heavyweight Championship Kenny Manitoba (c) vs. Ace Cannon Kenny Manitoba wins via X-TRIGGER First Title Defense for the 9th Junior Heavyweight Champion, Kenny Manitoba
After the match, a blast from Manitoba's past makes his return to Fire Island, as his former Golden Guys tag partner, Golden Star, steps out to challenge him.
Post-Match Interview Manitoba: So you decide to show your face again after we took you out, Golden Star. Like I said before, there is nothing between us anymore, and there never will be. What I did to you was to make an example out of you, and if you want to face me again, this time I take you out for good.
Fire Island Pro Grand Championship Jay Blade (c) vs. Tanah Tanah wins via Attack Before Bell DQ First Title Defense for the 10th Grand Champion, Jay Blade
Post-Show Speech Blade: This is one of your "aces," people. Can't take a little beating before the match even starts. Let this be a sign as to how things will be from now on. I will be the champion for years to come, by any means necessary. And while I have the old man's attention, I want him to know this: Kenny and I will NOT be upholding the Anniversary tradition of Grand vs. Jr., and you can figure out how to fill that main event.

From the Desk of Senator IchibanIchiban: Anniversary of Fire is not long away, and after this, we approach the first tournament of the year, the Solar Festival. As such, before moving on with the Anniversary of Fire card announcement, I would like to take the time to reveal the 32 participants that will partake in the tournament:
Ace Cannon Arcane Dragon American Sheik Bodhin (debut) Buck Tomkins Cepheus Phunk (debut) Chapeltec Dragon Blood El Halcon Ganzorig Jinder Bengahl (debut) JJ Strife Johnny Hype Justice Yuji Ken Po Kuromisuto Mino Ruski Mr. Excellent Ojyma Payper Kutt Punk A.D. R.B.I. (debut) Reign Man Shane Stud (debut) Sotoka Super Beast Tigre Supremo Torn (debut) Tiki Boom Ultra Sanda Vincitor Yoko Ohno
Ichiban: This year's iteration of the tournament will feature 6 debuting competitors to Fire Island. Those being the Tibetan Monk Bodhin, "The Greatest in the Galaxy" Cepheus Phunk, the Spice Zone's uncrowned king Jinder Bengahl, the top tier athlete R.B.I., the TNT Champion Shane Stud, and the Muay Thai Kingpin Torn. As always, the prize will be a shot at the Grand Championship at Burning Resurgence. However, that will not be the only prize. Starting this year, the winner of the Solar Cup will have a choice of title match from either the Grand, Junior Heavyweight (if they make the weight requirement) or the Rising Spirit of Nature Championships. The official bracket will be revealed at the end of Anniversary of Fire.
With that said, we now move on to the what you will see at Anniversary of Fire. Starting off the night will be JJ Strife facing Super Beast after the attempted post-match assault by Beast onto Ruto Nakasawa. Next will be a Duos Match pitting Reign Storm, the team of Reign Man and Tiki Boom for those new to our product, facing the Patriots of Pain, American Sheik and Blue Collar Brawler. In Trios action, Shane Stud's Stable of himself, Disturbed Youth and Dr. Matimatico will face Ruski-gun, represented by Mino Ruski, Gran Cazador and Rozwell. We will then see a special 8-Man Tag Elimination Match pitting Yoko Ohno and the Zone Defender League against the Den of Beasts, with Professor Kurushimi likely to be in their corner.
In a preview of the Solar Cup Final, Rising SON Champion Papa Dhark will team with Dragon Blood to face his championship opponent Ravi Shing, who will team with Jinder Bengahl. Then we will see the Crimson Mask Deathmatch featuring Justice Yuji and Joe Pro. In our semi-main event of the evening, the Imperial Fighters of the Strong Style Society, Ulrich and Ulysses, will defend the Duos Championship against the Samoan Hit Squad. Finally, we come to our main event. Traditionally, we would have the Grand Champion face the Junior Heavyweight Champion in a one-on-one match. However, both champions have elected to not face each other, as they both represent the same group. While I will accept their wishes, I will not take their disrespect lying down. So for our main event, Grand Champion Jay Blade will team with Junior Heavyweight Champion Kenny Manitoba to face their future, respective title challengers, Tanah and Golden Star, who will be referred to as Titan Gold.
This will be an interesting Duos Match, as the result will determine which title will be defended at the Solar Cup Finals, and which will be defended at a later date. The stipulations of this match are as follows:
*If Strong Style Society wins, the challenger not defeated will get their title opportunity at the Solar Cup Finals. *If Titan Gold wins, the winning challenger will get their title opportunity at the Solar Cup Finals.
Ichiban: In addition, due to the nature of which Jay Blade defended the Grand Championship at Daybreak, their eventual rematch will be contested in a Weapons Deathmatch. The date of the second match will be determined by both this match's result and the Solar Cup winner's choice. Anniversary of Fire Year: 7A Brief HistoryAfter the first "The Dawn" event that started it all, an event on this date is held in celebration for another year of existence: Anniversary of Fire. Held in what was once the Neo-Tokyo Town Hall Building, it was renamed The Senator's Office upon Senator Ichiban stepping down from competition. The bottom floor is a Neo-Tokyo Hall-sized wrestling venue, complete with an office desk towards the back that the Senator himself sits at to watch the action. On the floor just above the venue is Ichiban's actual office where he books events and broadcasts in between each show.
Up until this iteration of the event, there had been a tradition of having the Grand Champion and Junior Heavyweight Champion face off in a one-on-one match. The past 5 years have seen very interesting match-ups, including:
*AoF I (Year 2): Senator Ichiban (Grand) vs. Ultra Sanda (Junior) *AoF II (Year 3): Thunder Gold (Grand) vs. Ultra Sanda (Junior) *AoF III (Year 4): Senator Ichiban (Grand) vs. Arcane Dragon (Junior) *AoF IV (Year 5): Tanah (Grand) vs. Reign Man (Junior) *AoF V (Year 6): Tanah (Grand) vs. Punk A.D. (Junior)
For 5 years straight, the Grand Champion beat the Junior Heavyweight Champion in hard-fought and close matches. The battle between Tanah and Reign Man would be the first match in a series that live on in Fire Island legend as one of the greatest feuds of all time that started the conversation of who is the Ace of Fire Island in a post-Ichiban world. Matches
JJ Strife vs. Super Beast JJ Strife wins via Chain Choke DQ
Ruto Nakasawa attempts to stop the post-match beating, but gets nailed with the chain and a CHOUJYU KNEE DROP.
Post-Match Interview Beast: Strife! The people may be fooled, but I'm not! What makes you think you can be trusted with training the Young Dragon? For all we know, you could be going to the Strong Style Society with one of our own! Prove your worth to Fire Island! Face me in a Chain Deathmatch!
Reign Storm vs. Patriots of Pain Tiki Boom def. Blue Collar Brawler via THUNDER BOOM
Trios Match Stud's Stable vs. Ruski-gun Rozwell def. Shane Stud via AREA 51
Post-Match Interview Ruski: That was the best TNT has to offer? Pathetic. Whoever over there runs that title's committee, prepare. Ruski-gun...Ichiban.
Elimination Tag Yoko Ohno & Zone Defender League vs. Den of Beasts Chapeltec def. Ojyma via CHAPELEDGE Ganzorig def. Chapeltec via MONGOLIAN STOMPER Full Metal Morishima def. Sotoka via MALFUNCTION Full Metal Morishima def. Yoko Ohno via MALFUNCTION Deadlift def. Wolf Hanworth via DESCENSION Den of Beasts wins Survivors: Ganzorig, Deadlift & Full Metal Morishima
Post-Match Interview Kurushimi: My Four Divine Beasts continue to dominate the competition, yet none are in the conversation of being the next Grand Champion? Ganzorig will topple the field and win the Solar Cup, and take on whoever holds the top title.
Papa Dhark & Dragon Blood vs. Ravi Shing & Jinder Bengahl Papa Dhark def. Ravi Shing via YOGA INFERNO
Post-Match Interview Dhark: The only person that feels as though I am running away from a challenge is you, Shing. With what happened tonight, you have shown me that you are not worthy of becoming the champion. I'll prove that again when we fight one-on-one in the Solar Cup Finals.
Crimson Mask Deathmatch Justice Yuji vs. Joe Pro Justice Yuji wins via First Blood
Post-Match Interview Yuji: Ruski can keep sending his guys at me, and I'll beat them down. But right now, I must defend my Solar Cup against 31 other tough warriors. I plan on becoming the first 2x winner and give the Strong Style Society a taste of Blue Justice.
Fire Island Pro Duos Championship Imperial Fighters (c) vs. Samoan Hit Squad Ulrich def. Af'i via Jaw Jacker First Title Defense for the 10th Duos Champions, Ulrich & Ulysses
Diamond Exchange come out to challenge the Imperial Fighters to a Grapple Summit rematch for the titles.
Strong Style Society vs. Titan Gold Kenny Manitoba def. Golden Star via AMAZING GRACE
Due to the result of the main event, the Weapons Deathmatch for the Grand Championship will be fought for at the Solar Cup Finals. Instead of a post-show speech from the winners, Senator Ichiban comes out to reveal the bracket for the 7th annual Solar Festival Tournament
*Arcane Dragon vs. American Sheik *Tiki Boom vs. Dragon Blood *Mino Ruski vs. Shane Stud *Ultra Sanda vs. Tigre Supremo *Kuromisuto vs. Yoko Ohno *Sotoka vs. El Halcon *Reign Man vs. JJ Strife *Bodhin vs. Justice Yuji *Cepheus Phunk vs. Ganzorig *Ace Cannon vs. Super Beast *Jinder Bengahl vs. Ken Po *Buck Tomkins vs. Johnny Hype *Chapeltec vs. Payper Kutt *Vincitor vs. Punk A.D. *Mr. Excellent vs. Ojyma *Torn vs. R.B.I.

Solar Festival A Brief HistoryIn Fire Island, there are several ways to prove your fighting spirit and carve your name into history. One such way is to win one of the four grueling tournaments that the island plays host to. Each tournament is a multiple day marathon where the winner becomes immortalized in the minds of the fans, and get a championship opportunity on top of that. The first of these tournaments is the Solar Festival.
The tournament itself is but a part of a bigger celebration of Fire Island itself. The Solar Festival as a celebratory event commemorates the foundation of the island by settlers coming from the mainland of Terra-3 by explorers from the Spice Zone Sector. Legend tells that during a horrific storm that nearly capsized the ships, the island was discovered by what is referred to as The Eternal Flame. A giant torch that has been said to have never gone out. For generations since, the Solar Festival is a week-long celebration of the settlement, including a gathering at the nearby Neo Solar Temple in tribute to the settlers and the first King of the Sun, who became such by winning a very similar tournament to what is hosted around this time.
As for how the tournament works and its own history, 32 fighters have been selected for a single-elimination tournament. The tournament itself spans 8 days: The first 4 present 4 matches of the first round each. Night 5 is the entire second round, 6 hosts the Quarterfinals, Night 7 the Semifinals, and Night 8, the Solar Cup Final. The winner will receive the aforementioned Solar Cup, a trophy-like replica of the Eternal Flame that still burns on the island. Not only that, but the winner gets a title opportunity at Burning Resurgence.
Originally, when the tournament was first established, this tournament was held right after Senator Ichiban won his one-night tournament at The Dawn, and would determine his first challenger. This would be won by Rampage, who would make history by not only becoming the second Grand Champion, but defeat Ichiban by a Fast Forward to capture it. One year later, Tanah would take his first steps to becoming the Ace by winning the second tournament against Mino Ruski, but would be the first to fail the title challenge, losing to Senator Ichiban. Year 3 would see Red Cyclone come from out of nowhere and beat Senator Ichiban in his road to revenge, but would lose to Thunder Gold. Steve Stampede of the Mega Violent Duo would capture the 4th year's tournament but lose to Senator Ichiban. It wouldn't be until Year 5 and history being made when then Junior Heavyweight Champion Reign Man would win the tournament, and win the first ever Title For Title Match by defeating Tanah after losing the Anniversary match. Finally, last year saw Justice Yuji winning the Cup against Buck Tomkins, but fall against Tanah.
This year sees a major change to the tournament. Now, not only can the winner challenge for the Grand Championship at Burning Resurgence, but now they have a choice for what title they can go for. From this year forward, the winner can choose between challenging for the Grand Championship, the Junior Heavyweight Championship (if they make the 235 and under limit) or the new Rising Spirit of Nature Championship. Who will ascend and take the Solar Cup, and carve their name into Fire Island history?

This is really good. I enjoy seeing the history and progress you're doing with the events. It really has that feel to Fire Island. My approach to Fire Island was world-building on top of playing out cards. The big thing about Fire Island is since I decided to start it up well into its existence, I felt I had to build a history of the promotion from Year 1. Every champion, defenses, and tournament winners up to this point were created, and I share bits of that with each tour.
