Season 6 of the Openweight League comes down to the final match of the season for Varisty and Kid Rumble. The former champ had a solid showing in his return the league but lost in anti-climactic fashion as Varsity cruised to a win. Varsity will now be competing at Night of Champions 5 looking to retain his Junior Heavyweight title and become the SCFL Champion. Varsity becomes the first competitor to compete in two title matches at a Night of Champions event. As for the rest of the league, it was a pretty mediocre season where most of the competitors served as victims for Varsity and his P.C.D. finisher.

Big news from the offices of the SCFL! In a press release it has been announced that the Openweight League will be expanding to 10 competitors for season 7. The extra competitors will be determined at Night of Eliminations 21. The competitors looking to enter this league will be drawn from both entirely new competitors and competitors that currently hold an 0-1 record from a previous Night of Eliminations loss. Those being given a second chance will be wrestling under sudden death rules, so if they fail to secure a spot a second time, they are banned for life from the league. Rumors are flying that Thunder Gold will be one of the competitors.

The card for Night of Eliminations 21 has been announced:
Jack Grappler vs. J.T. Royal Kenny Manitoba vs. Dante Giordano Warzone vs. Americus Billion Dollar Brawler vs. War Hawk (Champions of Time) Mighty Kynigos vs. Boston Terror Tick Tock vs. Thunder Gold (International Incident 2) Kid Rumble vs. Rampage The Natural vs. Dusty Plummer Sledge Hammerstein vs. Ricky Stallion
Many were very surprised when Tick Tock agreed to a rematch with Thunder Gold from Night of Champions 1. This is a huge rematch. Can Tick Tock pull off another upset?

Openweight League Roster for Season 7
Americus Billion Dollar Brawler Dante Giordano Dusty Plummer J.T. Royal Mighty Kynigos Rampage Sledge Hammerstein Thunder Gold (International Incident 2) Loser of the SCFL Championship match at Night of Champions 5
The SCFL Openweight League has been completely transformed after Night of Eliminations 21. Only Billion Dollar Brawler and Mighty Kynigos were able to retain their spots in the league. The biggest development was Tick Tock losing to Thunder Gold in their rematch from Night of Eliminations 1. What will the SCFL owner do now that he no longer is involved in any league? Knowing Tick Tock's history, many are worried this could be the end of the SCFL if Tick Tock decides to look for greener pastures. Only time will tell what he has in store for the league.

Tick Tock sits alone in his office somewhere in Las Vegas. It is the middle of the night, and the only light in the office is coming from a strange looking orb in his hands. Embarrassed that he is out of every league in the federation he owns, he knows there is only one thing to do. He takes one last look around the office, filled with fond memories from the SCFL. He knows that this is not the end, and he will return to this timeline seemingly seconds after he does what he has set his mind to do. He gently presses a button on the top of the orb, and Tick Tock and the orb disappear.
NOTE: New project idea that takes place in a different universe. I will most likely return to the SCFL at some point in the future.
