Hello there IFC fans! I’m having a great time with the game so far but I want to introduce myself and get to know some of you. So I was wondering a few things. About how many fights do you have per card? Whose your current favorite character? And which match types are your favorite?
As of the time of this post I currently have IFC1&2 and free agents 1. I can’t wait to continue my journey into this exciting universe!

Hello, mrbelb, and welcome to the GFP Family. To answer your questions:
Amount of matches/fights I run: Between each fed I run, I do an average of around 5-6 fights a card. Ultimately it depends on the fed I run. Stuff with recurring or weekly cards I do like 5-6 each then a Supercard of like 7-8, bigger ones are usually either like 9-10 fights or make the events multi-night affairs.
Favorite characters: Besides my own, some of my all-time favorites have been Vincitor, Bodhin, Vindicator, pretty much the entire Fire Island set (mainly Kenny Manitoba and Reign Man) and some others (my Free Agents 3 creation will also be in that upper tier)
Favorite match types: Probably Gauntlet Matches. In the years I've played this game, I've done so many different variants of a Gauntlet Match: King of the Hill-style with a time limit, Double Elimination like how the first X-Division Champion was crowned in TNA, Team Gauntlets, Scored Gauntlets. Pretty much for a while before there were rules created for a multi-man match (that I helped to tweak) Gauntlet Matches were my big multi-person gimmick.
(Also while not a match type, I love running tournaments.)

Welcome mrbelb the amount of matches on a card is basically up to you. For me it depends on what the size of the roster is. For my IFC I go with seven matches for regular shows and twelve for major ones. For the ICOF It becomes five and ten due to the fewer number of fighters. Favorite character for me is between Dragon Blood and Punk A.D. For the ICOF it's between Cajun Karn and Murder Hornet Favorite match type is between hardcore and triple threat matches. JJ_Strife made a great resource for match types check it out.
Bottom line enjoy and have fun mrbelb. Can't wait to see some of your results

Welcome to the game and community mrbelb, cool that you're having fun with the game. I'll have from 4 to 5 on a normal card and usually more on big events, but the amount is in Flux. Hubris is one of my favorite characters in the game, but we have so many fun ones...

Welcome to the game! I hope you have as much fun as the rest of us are having.
I typically run 6-7 matches per card, with any title match not counting, so sometimes I would have as many as 10. For my PPV cards, I have each title defended (I currently have 6 titles in my fed), with feud matches and any “special” matches taking place. I chose this format to make my PPV events meaningful and impactful for storylines and angles.
My favorite current character is Honest Abe. He is the top face in my fed, and he is never far away from the top title in my fed.
As for my favorite match type, mine is the one I created called the BattleBrawl. It is a combination of a survivor series team elimination match combined with the bunkhouse stampede rules. It is a staple in my fed, and has anywhere from 2-4 teams of five members taking place. I recently also added cibernetico rules to it as well. This means the remaining team, if it has more than one member remaining will face off until there is one winner, and the winner receives a shit for the LFA Legacy Grand Championship. Which is my feds top title.
I look forward to seeing your creativity and events in this exciting universe.

I run between 3-7 matches, though it depends on the fed, show, and/or style. Outside of the characters I've done, Vincitor has always been my favorite. However, Ratchet is high up there! Eric has created so many memorable characters, even if they're tribute cards or based on a real characters. When it comes to match types, I love trios matches.
Enjoy!

4-8 depending on the promotion and what type of card it is. TV usually has 4-6 and larger shows 6-8.

You have to determine what type of show you want to run. My TV shows are 3 matches each. The PPVs and Live Event vary in length, but I always try to keep them within reason.
The key is to have fun and enjoy your time playing.
The vast majority of my matches are singles bouts, with duos matches mixed in. Specialty matches should be not be a regular thing, otherwise they lose their appeal. It comes down to booking philosophy....but that might be a whole different conversation.
