I like this, it explains a lot more to me about what's going on. It really makes things more interesting now. I'll be watching to see how it plays out.

Local Event at Western States Armory, Earth (LE1)
Havoc was in the locker room hours before the event began. She received the note from the promoter yesterday. If it had come from anyone else, it would have been beyond strange...but Havoc knew the author. She wouldn't ignore it...she couldn't ignore it. Whoever this guy was, he is in for the beating of a lifetime. Free Agent Fights- Punxsutawney Bill defeated Southern G with the Gobbler's Knob after a decent both where both men got some good offense.
- Butterfly Haley Jean KOd Sam Dunk with FlyBy; Haley bounced back after taking Sam's finisher early in the bout.
Official IFC Fights- A grim, determined Ratchet fought off an initial onslaught from Tiki Boom and gained a victory with the Wrist Rocket!
- Death Star hit Krusher Khan with Death March right off the bat, taking the Russian by complete surprise and handing him a loss.
- Although smiling and laughing the entire bout, Party Pirate showed no mercy in the beating he gave Ken Po.
- Havoc Killbourne brutalized Tick Tock, gaining a victory with her finisher. Through a mask of blood, Tick Tock smiled a creepy smile at the end, "Tick, tock...tick, tock!" he yelled as he was carted out of the cage.
Local Event at the Borderlands Battledome (LE2)
Free Agent Fights
- Cristoforo hit the 1492 Spike early on the American Shiek, gaining the victory.
- Payper Kutt tried to overwhelm Little Miss Spookiness, but she came back with a vengeance. Little Miss Spookiness hit the Funeral of Hearts to win the bout.
Official IFC Fights- Krusher Khan defeated Tiki Boom with the Sickle.
- Tick Tock surprised everyone, gaining a very quick victory over Death Star (FAST FORWARD). After the win, a strange sound emitted from the device Tick Tock carries with him. This alarm caused Tick Tock to devolve into one of his fits of maniacal laughter, while reports say the Commissioner was visibly angry.
- Party Pirate gained a solid victory over Rocky with the Party Punch!
- After a long battle that nearly went the one-hour time limit, Warhawk defeated Ratchet. As usual, Ratchet showed tremendous heart and fought back from several perilous situations. At the end of the bout, the crowd let her know that she was still their home-world hero!
"The guy is all smiles and laughs...," growled Bobcat. "Doesn't even seem to realize that he's one of them Cursed...whatever that means." Like most of the fighters, he was still a little confused about the whole "status" system the commissioner instituted. Unlike most fighters, though, Bobcat didn't really care...he earned his Protected status and apparently that is a very good thing. He shoved his cigar back in his mouth and shut off the holo-vision.
"When I get my hands on him, he'll know the party's over," he snarled and left the room.

IFC 1: Bad Moon Rising, WAHOO! Arena (MnE1)
Honest Abe is seated alone in the locker room, still. Focused on the match tonight, his mental fortitude prevented the situation from overwhelming him. “You earned this match,” he said aloud to no one in particular. “You will honor this opportunity with unmatched effort.”
- Tiki Boom used Death Star’s Death March to gain a victory in a quick, violent bout.
- At the starting bell, Krusher Khan flattened Ken Po with the Soviet Sickle. Khan stood over his rival, laughing, “You will join me soon, fool.”
- Ratchet KOs Rocky in a contest where both fighters represented themselves well.
- Party Pirate hits Little Miss Spookiness with the Party Punch for the win. His victory celebrations, which includes what some would loosely call dancing, drew the ire of Commissioner Maleve.
- In a match directly set up by the Commissioner, Warhawk defeated Tick Tock in an Indian Strap Match. Although he lost, Tick Tock stayed in the fight longer than many anticipated. At the conclusion of the match, Commissioner Maleve glared intently at Tick Tock. Tick Tock spit up blood, then laughed...waving his finger back and forth at the Commissioner.
- Punk A.D. showed some moxy, but Rabbid crushed him with two straight Spine Smashers to earn the win.
- In a battle of top contenders, Bobcat Jack brutalized Yoko Ohno in a frenzied assault that ended with a Superman Punch.
- In the main event, Honest Abe lost to the Messenger in a 2 out of 3 falls battle to determine the number one contender to Vincitor’s championship. Both competitor’s battled hard, but Messenger continually got the upper hand. During the third and final fall, Honest Abe could no longer stand and face his opponent; the referee stopped the match and awarded the fall to Messenger
The commissioner was furious. After the beatings that lunatic received, he should have been more than susceptible...but she got nothing. “Now I have to do something I don’t like at all...trust someone else to get results,” she thought as she started to storm out of the room. She inadvertently bumped into Bobcat Jack, knocking him back a step. “Woa, miss! I was looking for...,” Bobcat picked up a green tint in the Commissioner’s eyes and got the feeling that this woman was all fury now. “...never mind.” The Commissioner just glared at him, nodded, and left. “Tough broad,” Bobcat thought as he lit a cigar. “I like her.”

Local Event at the Furceon Cowpens and Rodeo Grounds (LE3)
Messenger materialized in Maleve’s office at the exact time of the appointment. Maleve looked up from her screen with a blank face. “Anything to report?” “No and maybe,” Messenger replied without emotion. “To date, two of my associates have not gathered anything of significance in reference to the lunatic’s plans. They have uncovered evidence of something suspicious.” “Another associate has determined that the lunatic’s device emits nano-particles and waves not familiar to any of the known sectors. Upon further exploration and research, he has found mention of a Forbidden Sector,” Messenger said. “Interesting. Does your associate know any more details on this Forbidden sector?” “The only evidence he uncovered provided minor indication that it served as sector for rehabilitation, possibly isolation, of lifeforms who have misaligned priorities with their original sector.” Maleve snorted. “Something like that, you would think you and your associates would maintain better records,” she thought. “Thank you, Messenger. Good luck against the champ,” she said aloud. Messenger nodded and left. Free Agent Fights
- Papa Dhark hits the Yoga Inferno on Southern G for the win.
- Soda City Slugger dominated Payper Kutt, finishing him off with the Sey Hey.
Official IFC Fights
- In a decent bout, Ratchet downed Ken Po with rapid fire kicks.
- Tick Tock shocked everyone by submitting Rocky with the Thumb Trap. His insane cackles pierced the sky and repeatedly screamed “Mayhem! Chaos! Destruction!” as he departed the cage. There was a long, uncomfortable silence for quite some time after the laughter subsided.
- Death Star battled Party Pirate in a great fight, but lost to the Party Punch. The Pirate had another post-match celebration which the fans loved, but others were not amused.
- Punk A.D. quickly dispatched a cocky Krusher Khan with the Back Blaster.
Bobcat spat when he saw the Pirates post-match shenanigans. “If I could only get my hands on him,” he said aloud to no one in particular. Maleve appeared out of the shadows next to Bobcat. “Next card, he’s all yours,” Maleve said. “Please make him understand the severity of his situation.” She began leaving but stopped. “Oh, and if you lose...well, you will join that showboat and the rest of the cursed. Maybe then you will appreciate your current status.” Maleve than left as quickly as she arrived. Bobcat smiled and lit another cigar. “Maybe I will, but I’ve always had a thick skull.”

Local Event at Logan Proving Grounds, Planet X (LE3) Free Agent Fights
- Sam Dunk defeated American Sheik with the Sam Dunk Slam.
- Ravi Shing beat Haley Jean with the Big Bombay Boom.
Official IFC Fights
- Warhawk defeated Krusher Khan with the WarDance.
- Punk A.D. bested Tick Tock with the Back Blaster in what was a very quick, decisive victory.
- Rabbid hit three Spine Smashers on Ratchet, finishing her with a Rabbit Punch.
- Tiki Boom defeated an uncharacteristically distracted Honest Abe with the Rasta Chops. Many fans commented that Abe looked defeated before he even got to the cage.
“Hello fight fans! Hype MacLeod here to call the action in our main event of the evening. The hometown hero, Bobcat Jack, will be taking on the Party Pirate in a 2 out of 3 falls event set up by the Commissioner herself! What we have is a Protected against a Cursed and what we know is that a stipulation of this match is that the Protected status is on the line! That’s right...if Bobcat Jack loses than Party Pirate will be the Protected and Bobcat will be Cursed. Oh the intensity! Here comes Bobcat Jack...WOW! The place erupts for….” The reaction to Bobcat Jack is so loud that it overpowers all other sound in the arena.
- Fall 1: Constantly smirking, Bobcat Jack nails Party Pirate with four Superman Punches before finally dispatching him with a Gator Roll.
- Fall 2: Party Pirate silences the raucous crowd by nailing Bobcat Jack with a Party Punch from the start and gaining the win. Bobcat Jack looks and sounds infuriated…
his eyes show a deep, animal-like fury. - Fall 3: Bobcat Jack and Party Pirate battle hard, but Bobcat Jack gained the victory with a Solar Plexus Strike. After the fall, Bobcat Jack brutalizes Party Pirate. Massive amounts of security had to fight through the blood-thirsty crowd before reaching Bobcat Jack to stop the onslaught.
“Hype MacLeod again, fans...what a massacre! Just want to remind you that the next event will be the first major card of the year. Solarcade will be at the Nil Zone Box Office, and it will be a doozy! See you then!”
“We should accept the proposal,” Maleve said into the blacked out vid-com. She knew her “partners” valued their privacy, but talking to a blank screen always bothered her. “It has many benefits that will only help broaden our appeal.” “Yes, we concur. And the championship?” “We make it official, subordinate to the Grand championship,” Maleve said. “Before you say anything, I know he won’t like it. He’ll still make the deal...his ego guarantees it.” “And the odd number?” Maleve smiled. “I’ve already got a plan to bring another fighter onboard. And she will also broaden our appeal.”

SolarCade at Nil Zone Box Office (Mj1)
“WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!” “Fight fans, this is Hype McLeod and you know that music and you know that sound...that’s right! Ricky Stallion is HERE! I can’t believe it! Here’s what we know: Ricky Stallion, the Heritage Heavyweight Champion of the Galaxy, is officially a member of the IFC! In addition, the Heritage championship is now an authorized IFC championship. And the first challenger for the championship is….Warhawk! Fans, we are in for a treat!” Opening Bouts- In a contest for the Heritage Championship, Ricky Stallion defeated Warhawk with the Queen City Lock to capture the first fall and the match!
- Death Star defeated Honest Abe with the Death March for the win. Abe fought hard and came close to victory on several occasions, but could not gain the victory.
Cursed Grand Prix
“What a great pair of opening bouts! Now, we will start the “Cursed Grand Prix!” Just a reminder, these “Cursed” fighters are battling to keep their jobs. They fight on every single card, but they only battle each other on our major events…like NOW! What we have is a 4-fighter round robin, where a win will net you 2 points and a loss will get you ZERO! No idea what’s in store for the winner...but it’s time to get started!” - Party Pirate submits Tick Tock with a Rear Naked Choke.
- Although Ratchet controlled the fight for the majority of time, Krusher Khan hits her with the Soviet Sickle for the win.
- Ratchet easily defeats Tick Tock with the Wrist Rocket.
- Krusher Khan and Party Pirate fought a savage battle that resulted in a DOUBLE KO! Since both fighters were knocked out, they both earn a loss for this bout.
- Party Pirate wins by disqualification after Ratchet hit him with an inadvertent low blow. Ratchet was infuriated; the referee had to be escorted from the cage and the arena to avoid any physical harm. Begrudgingly, the commissioner awards Party Pirate 1 point for the DQ win.
- Krusher Khan destroyed Tick Tock. Again, the Commissioner approached the battered Tick Tock and glared at him for a long moment. After his eyes rolled back, he just smiled at her before passing out.
The final standings: First place goes to Krusher Khan (2-1, 4 pts), second place to Party Pirate (2-1, 3 pts), Ratchet is in third (1-2, 2 pts), and last place is Tick Tock (0-3, 0 pts). A holo-projection of the Commissioner appears. “Congratulations Krusher. You have won the first trial, and with that victory you have earned an advantage for a future trial.” The holo-projection disappears, leaving Krusher and the audience baffled about this “advantage.” Remaining Bouts
- Tiki Boom defeats Ken Po with Boom-Shaka-Laka; Tiki Boom’s win was decisive and in dominating fashion.
- Yoko-Ohno and Punk A.D. battled in an epic confrontation that had both fighters landing some significant blows. Yoko-Ohno withstood the punishment and got the win.
- Bobcat Jack quickly dispatched Rabbid with a Superman Punch.
- Messenger defeats Vincitor to win the Intergalactic Grand Championship, capturing the first two falls with Last Rites. Bobcat Jack came down to the cage and glared at the new champ. Surprisingly, he left without any violence!

“There is an abundance of talent available,” the voice said. “The participation at our local events is...encouraging.”
“Yes, there are a lot of potential candidates,” responded Maleve, “and I have a plan that will prove advantageous for all parties.”
“Go on.”
“Previously, we discussed holding an event similar to the ancient ‘Aztec Warfares’ and ‘Red Carpet Rumbles’...”
“This thing you call `Galactic Uprising,’ again? We do not have the personnel required. For these events to work, we need much more than our allotted 17 slots,” the voice responded with a slight hint of agitation.
“I understand the lack of personnel on our part...let us allow some of those outside of our organization to compete for the honor of participating in the event,” Maleve answered with a smile.
“Interesting. And if one of these outsiders wins the event?”
Maleve could tell that she was winning them over; she enjoyed the feeling but needed to close the deal. “Should an outsider win the event, then they automatically qualify for the Empowerment.”
From her previous dealings, the silence at her response indicated approval. “And how will we determine the participants?”
“We have some outsiders that have performed well at our local events; we can have them compete for positions. The rest will be determined by a tournament...a tournament of outsiders only,” Maleve said and paused. “We sanction it, but do not host it.” There was at least a minute of still silence. Before the other could begin, Maleve continued. “An event like this one is sure to be a major draw and requires a very large venue. I proposed the Maligned Coliseum of the Lost Sector.”
“Your home world? How convenient,” the voice smirked. “The Coliseum does have a very large capacity, and it should bring even more exposure to our venture. We approve.” The conversation ended as the connection terminated.
Maleve smiled. “With the addition of outsiders, the Galactic Uprising promises to be an event that will cement the IFC as a permanent fixture,” she thought. “Now, options for establishing the order...it only makes sense that the Cursed start. It wouldn’t be prudent to make things easy for them,” she brought her smile under control and went to work.
