Arena of
Legend
... and is the governing body which organizes the BRUTAL Fighting League. BRUTAL presents itself as a legitimate combat sports promotion, with fight streamed online to millions of views. But the privately held corporation has its fingers in numerous pies across the world, including pharmaceuticals, communications, private security, and energy. What role does the tournament play in the grand scheme of their machinations? Some of the so-called "Brutalists" fight for glory or the glittering prizes at the top, but some suspect BRUTAL's hidden intentions, and hope to discover the truth by advancing through the league...

It's always cool seeing a new fed and a new fed name that stands out in such a cool way as your BRUTAL Fighting League, I love the use of BRUTAL in your comments like "Time to get BRUTAL!". I know Disturbed Youth is your guy, but I loved that Crimson Cross takes the victory on the first card. A fun read and it'll be fun to follow, keep it coming ljacone...

Brutal Fighting League 2
After the qualifying matches last week, the winners were sorted by a lottery draw into two Blocks. The winner of each Block will face off for the BRUTAL Championship!
BLOCK A Road Rage Buck Tomkins Shane Studd Muck
BLOCK B Yoko Ohno HT Mahoney Tommy Hawk Crimson Cross
1. Block A: Road Rage vs Buck Tomkins --Tomkins was in control of the match when Road Rage broke out the chain and was Disqualified!
2. Block B: Tommy Hawk vs Crimson Cross --Tommy got the win with the Tommy Gunn after Disturbed Youth showed up at ringside and distracted Crimson Cross!
3. Cosmic Nightmare vs War Hawk --War Hawk was a house of fire against the Nightmare, putting away his opponent with two War Dances.
4. El Matematico vs Ultra Sanda --A vicious, back and forth affair, with the Irrational Luchador fending off multiple Zero Bombers, before nailing QED outta nowhere for the win.
5. Disturbed Youth vs El Halcyon --El Halcyon defeated Youth with a Tope Con Hilo -- while Youth was distracted by Crimson Cross, returning the favor from earlier!
6. Rampage vs Croak --A hard hitting slugfest, Rampage and Croak bashed each other from one end of the ring to the other. In the end, Croak managed to keep the big man down with War Hammer.
7. Block A: Shane Studd vs Muck --Muck tried to brawl, but Shane's skill won the day with the Belly to Belly Suplex.
8. Block B: Yoko Ohno vs HT Mahoney --Yoko Ohno made short work of Mahoney, splashing him from behind into the corner before the bell and then getting a quick victory! (Fast Forward)
NEXT: More action in both Block A and Block B! What shape will Mahoney be in after that gruesome splash? And will Crimson Cross and Disturbed Youth continue to escalate their budding rivalry? Come back next week and find out!

Time for the Block warfare to settle out the two for the finals.
The Q.E.D. can come out of nowhere...which makes it so dangerous

Yoko is funny like that, sometimes he gets on a monster roll and other times he is ice cold. I guess this BRUTAL combat seems to suit him

Brutal Fighting League 3
Block Stage competitions continue! Who will enforce their will on their opponents and continue on the path to dominance? Remember, the winner of each Block will face off for the BRUTAL Championship!
BLOCK A Road Rage Buck Tomkins Shane Studd Muck
BLOCK B Yoko Ohno HT Mahoney Tommy Hawk Crimson Cross
1. Block A: Road Rage vs Shane Studd --A classic battle of size versus skill, with neither Brutalist able to take control. Studd was able to survive a Suicide Clutch, but Rage was able to kick out of the Belly to Belly Suplex as well! In the end, Road Rage was able to get the win with a second Suicide Clutch.
2. Block B: Yoko Ohno vs Tommy Hawk --The "Japanese Super Giant" was able to continue his winning ways, slamming Hawk all over the ring and getting the win with a nasty series of Judo Chops!
3. War Hawk vs Rampage --War Hawk was still fired up from last week, chopping the bigger man down with Tomahawk Chops and finishing him off with a War Dance. After the match, Rampage took out his frustrations on the ringside area, smashing tables and ripping apart a guard rail!
4. Cosmic Nightmare vs El Halcyon --A back and forth slugfest, with both men trading blows and being rocked repeatedly. Halcyon was able to get in close and deliver El Halcyon Punch to get the victory.
5. Disturbed Youth vs El Matematico --This one started with a bang, with the Irrational Luchador nailing QED right after the opening bell! But Youth's instinct for survival helped him kick out! From there he stretched out El Matematico and got the win with the Disturbed Death Drop.
After the match, Youth got on the microphone and called out Crimson Cross! "I have fought and defeated many of your ilk before, and will do so long after your name has been forgotten to the timeless void. Your future is disturbed!"
6. Croak vs Ultra Sanda --The monstrous Croak kept right on rolling, turning back Sanda's offense and notching up another victory with his War Hammer.
7. Block A: Buck Tomkins vs Muck --Tomkins was not impressed with nor intimidated by Muck's offensive personal hygiene and took the fight right to him, ending the match in quick fashion. (Fast Forward)
8. Block B: Crimson Cross vs HT Mahoney --Mahoney was game, bur Cross was a man possessed in this match, kicking out of Go 2 Jail with authority and then finishing the match with the Bombjack.
Cross then demanded that Disturbed Youth man up and confront him face to face! Youth obliged, and stared with steely eyes at Cross, who called him jealous and "all talk and no walk!" Youth laughed coldly in Cross's face, replying that "bluster is the only resource of the weak minded!" Youth warned that even if Cross does survive the Block, that the future does not look good for Cross. Cross, smirking, merely pointed up the Block leaderboard as Youth turned and walked away, dismissive of his potential rival.
NEXT: The final week of Block Stage competition! Who will be left standing to fight for the BRUTAL Championship? Can anyone stop Yoko? Can Tomkins finish with a perfect record? What will happen with Crimson Cross and Disturbed Youth? Will War Hawk and Croak continue their recent success?
Time to get BRUTAL!

Standings after week 2 of Block competition: BLOCK A Brutalist Points Tomkins | 6 | Road Rage | 3 | Shane Studd | 3 | Muck | 0 |
BLOCK B Brutalist PointsYoko Ohno | 6 | Crimson Cross | 3 | Tommy Hawk | 3 | HT Mahoney | 0 |
By virtue of having two losses apiece, both Muck and HT Mahoney have been mathematically eliminated from advancing to the next stage! In the event of a tie at the top of a Block, the results of the Head To Head match up between the two Brutalists will be used as the tie breaker!
