BRUTAL Fighting League presents... SHOWDOWN
Everything has been building to this moment... history will be made... some will feel the glory of victory... others the misery of defeat... but all will feel the power and intensity of the most decorated and honored combat sports organization in the world, BRUTAL Fighting League!
It's time to get BRUTAL! It's time for a SHOWDOWN!
LIVE on the BRUTAL Fighting League Network!
1. Ultra Sanda vs Muck --The Japanese fighter took it straight to Muck, nailing several Koppu Kicks and a Zero Bomber! But he was not able to keep Muck down! Once the bigger Brutalist got his hands on Sanda, that was all she wrote, and Muck got the win with a massive Grimy Headbutt.
2. Buck Tomkins vs Warhawk --Tomkins was a house of fire, and ran right over Warhawk, getting the win with a quick Thundering Stampede, and receiving a thunderous ovation from the crowd afterwards!
3. HT Mahoney vs Road Rage --Both men were eager to get their hands on each other, but the BRUTAL Official demanded that they put down their nightstick and chain, respectively! Road Rage ambushed Mahoney before the bell, and scored a near fall, but Mahoney was able to escape! Mahoney took control, forcing Rage to keep trying to grab the chain, only to be stopped by the official every time! Finally, Rage was able to grab ahold of his chain, but he swung and missed Mahoney, leaving him wide open for a Go 2 Jail to give Mahoney the win after a hard hitting match!
4. Dr. Matimatico vs El Halcyon --A total difference in styles from the last match, these men showed off their amazing athletic prowess. Matimatico came out hot, but El Halcyon was able to weather the early flurry and gain the advantage. Dr. Matimatico was able to duplicate the effort, and Halcyon was not able to hold onto the upper hand. In the end it was the QED for the finish as Dr. Matimatico picked up the victory!
After the match, a page was dispatched to the ring with a memorandum from the BRUTAL Fighting League Board of Governors. "Ladies and gentlemen, the BRUTAL Fighting League Board of Governors has instructed me to announce the following: The BRUTAL Fighting League Board of Governors are proud to announce that in the coming weeks, BRUTAL Fighting League will be expanding! More Brutalists will be joining BRUTAL Fighting League, and there will be new competitions and challenges as well! BRUTAL Fighting League is proud to be the most respected and competitive combat sports organization in the world and will continue to deliver the highest caliber combat sports as we move into the new year!"
5. Tommy Hawk vs Cosmic Nightmare --This one promised to be a violent clash and did not disappoint! Nightmare attacked Tommy right at the bell, but there are not many Brutalists better suited to a brawl than Tommy Hawk! Tommy unloaded on Nightmare, nailing him with Tommy Gunn, but Nightmare refused to stay down! Tommy requested some help from the audience, and received a FRYING PAN from one ticketholder. How did that get through security?! Tommy had Nightmare dead to rights, but it was a SWING AND A MISS as Nightmare dodged the frying pan, and then countered with a Cosmic Hook right to the jaw! Three counts later, Cosmic Nightmare had picked up what can only be considered an upset victory!
6. Disturbed Youth vs Crimson Cross --Disturbed Youth came to the ring first, walking slowly, his face stony and stoic, his eyes staring out thousands of yards away. Crimson Cross, on the other hand, was extremely high energy and pumped up. The two men stared right into each other eyes, neither giving an inch, but once the bell rang, all hell broke loose! This fight spilled all over the ringside area and into the crowd, as neither men would let the other get any separation! It looked to be over when Cross nailed Bombjack, but Youth would not stay down! The Disturbed One took control, and nailed Disturbed Death Drop right in the center of the ring! BUT NO! Cross survived that assault! More rumbling back and forth, until Youth was able to hook Cross up for the 3D once again! But Cross slipped out as he was being raised up, got a head of steam off the ropes and nailed the Phobos Punch! That finally put Youth down for the count... and Cross collapsed on the mat as well! As the crowd roared their approval, both men slowly got to their feet. Staring right at each other, a tense feeling started going through the air of the arena... what would happen now? Both men were on their feet, looking at each other and to the crowd.
One heartbeat.
A second heartbeat.
And then at the same time, both men slugged each other with right hands! The battle was on again! The ring was flooded with officials and security and both men were dragged back to opposite sides of the backstage area! Looks like absolutely nothing has been settled with these two!
7. Rampage vs Croak --These two behemoths each want to prove their dominance here in BRUTAL Fighting League and this back and forth match kept the crowd in a frenzy! After an initial pummeling by Rampage, Croak took charge, scoring a near fall with an Amphibian Assault! But Rampage was right back on the offense, nailing big blows but never seeming to take Croak off his feet! The tide seemed to turn when Croak hit War Hammer, but Rampage was able to avoid defeat, retaliating with a massive Boulder Bomb! But Croak's fighting spirit remained strong! In the end it took two War Hammers back to back to finally put Rampage down for the count!
8. BRUTAL Fighting League Championship: Yoko Ohno (w. Douglas R. Gordon) vs Shane Studd --As Shane Studd made his way to the ring, he was wearing a championship belt on his waist, but the viewing audience on BRUTAL Fighting League Network did not get a good look at it, as the title was digitally edited into a mass of blurry pixels! Additionally, the audio dropped out on the broadcast momentarily once Studd entered the ring, and the viewing audience could not hear anything the crowd was chanting.
Yoko Ohno came out second, the BRUTAL Fighting League Championship on his shoulder, with Gordon right behind him. In the ring, Studd seemed to be laying the bad mouth on Ohno, but the cameras did not pick up his words. Instead, Gordon got on the house mic and addressed the audience. "Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Douglas R. Gordon, and I am the advocate and representative for the inaugrual and undisputed, reigning and defending BRUTAL Fighting League Champion, the Japanese Super Giant, Yoko Ohno! Ladies and gentlemen, my client is not a man... HE! IS! DAIKAIJU! And at this time I would ask those of you with weak dispositions to look away, before Mr Studd is beaten so badly that the Board of Governors..." he pauses and soaks up the chorus of boos at the mention of the Board... "before the Board of Governors is forced to cut off the Network again to clean up the bloodied carcass! RING! THE! BELL!"
In a night where men battled bitterly, and put their health and livelihood on the line repeatedly, this harsh, grisly fight topped all. Immediately upon the bell, Ohno bull rushed Studd with a sumo charge, squashing him into the corner. An arrogant pin lead to a two count, and awoke the flames in Studd's belly. Back and forth they battled, Studd getting right into range of Yoko and brawling with him, his frustration and anger apparent on his face the entire time. But inevitably Yoko would throw his weight around and regain control of the match once more. The champion manhandled Studd, throwing him around the ring and slamming him to the mat. But Studd refused to give an inch, coming right back at Yoko each time. After rocking Yoko with a series of right hands, he had the big man dazed in the center of the ring. He wrapped his arms around Yoko's massive midsection for the Belly to Belly Suplex, unable to lock hands, instead grabbing Yoko's mawashi with both hands. In a feat of incredible strength and leverage, Studd nailed the Belly to Belly Suplex, driving Yoko into the mat and pinning him for the victory!
As Studd rolled to the corner and groggily got to his feet, and the Official handed him the BRUTAL Championship, his eyes looked glassy and confused. Out sprinted Dr. Matimatico and Disturbed Youth (the latter clearly having come from the trainer's room, heavily taped up) to celebrate, while Gordon appeared to be having a nervous breakdown at ringside with a clearly hurt Yoko Ohno. The show fades to black with the other members of ZDL holding up Shane Studd's arms in the middle of the ring, the BRUTAL Championship around his waist.

Holy cow! Showdown did not disappoint. Cross and Youth is clearly not over, he or elsewhere. Yoko and Stud was a classic war, but again that is not over.

BRUTAL Fighting League 11
Following the incredible night of SHOWDOWN, Shane Studd is the new BRUTAL Fighting League Champion! How will the BRUTAL Board of Directors respond to the leader of ZDL holding the top prize in all of combat sports? How will Yoko Ohno and his advocate Douglas R Gordon respond?! And who else will be gunning for Stud now?! The next phase of BRUTAL Fighting League starts NOW, LIVE on the BRUTAL Fighting Network!
1.Rampage vs Ultra Sanda --Ultra Sanda was game against the much larger Rampage, and scored plenty of good shots using a "stick and move" approach. But the size advantage of Rampage was too much, and he got the win with the Avalanche Charge.
2. Road Rage vs HT Mahoney --These two can't seem to settle their differences, and the Board of Directors saw fit to continue to exploit their animosity with another match. It was, as expected, as slobberknocker, with both men exchanging haymkers and other big blows. With Mahoney rolling, Road Rage bailed out of the ring and grabbed his chain, nailing his opponent between the eyes, triggering the Disqualification! The bell didn't seem to stop anything, though, as the two men continued to brawl, with Mahoney using his nightstick to even the odds! BRUTAL Security was able to separate them eventually, but it is clear that nothing has been resolved here!
Backstage, Ultra Sanda was in the Training Room receiving treatment, and was asked for a comment on his match earlier with Rampage. "Look, I don't care how big you are, or how strong you are, my name is Ultra Sanda, and I will fight for justice no matter the cost! There's too many guys here who think they can do whatever they want, get away with whatever they want -- well, the buck stops here, jack! Look at those guys out there, Road Rage and HT Mahoney - punks, both of them! Mahoney acts like he is for law and order, but he went right for that nightstick when the chips were down! BRUTAL is supposed to be an elite fighting league, well, Ultra Sanda is here to fight!"
3.Crimson Cross vs Warhawk --Warhawk offered his hand as a sign of respect before the match, but Cross merely sneered at the veteran in response. The fight was a hard hitting affair, and Cross finished off Warhawk with the Bombjack.
Afterwards, while Cross was having his hand raised, his music abruptly cut off, and the voice of Disturbed Youth echoed through the arena! "Crimsoooon Croooooss... Crimsoooon Croooooss..." but Youth was nowhere to be seen! Cross wheeled this way and that, looking for his hated rival, but Youth simply taunted him verbally, leaving a paranoid Crimson Cross to leave the ringside area, looking over his shoulder as he did!
4. Shane Studd made his way to the ring to address the crowd, who showered him with adoration! "Last month, I stood in the center of this ring, and for the gall of speaking out against the BRUTAL Board of Directors..." Studd is forced to pause as the chorus of boos ring out. Stud continues "For speaking out against the Board of Directors, and was sanctioned, right here, in this ring, with the Board's goal being to keep THIS BELT off of MY WAIST and keep it on their chosen one, Yoko Ohno! They thought they had me down, Gordon thought he had me down, Ohno thought he had me down, well... ha ha, THEY THOUGHT WRONG!"
"And in the days since I picked up Yoko Ohno and suplexed him down and pinned his shoulder to the mat, I have had a little bit of time to think. To think about what the Board did to me, and what holding this belt means. So right now, I am laying it down -- Yoko Ohno, you want a rematch, come and face me! Any time, any place! I'll pick your fat ass up and drive you through the mat again! And if the Board doesn't like me issuing a challenge, if they have some problem with me being A MAN and standing up for myself, then all I can say to those pantywaist pencil-necks is you can KISS... MY ASS!" The roaring approval of the crowd as Stud stands tall in the ring is the final image as the broadcast ends!
Next Time: Will Shane Stud's challenge be accepted? Will the Board of Directors allow Studd to make matches, or is that a step too far? Will anything ever settle the feud between Crimson Cross and Disturbed Youth? Plus more nonstop action as the stakes continue to be raised!
Time to get BRUTAL!

BRUTAL Fighting League 12
Last week, Shane Studd issued a challenge to the man he dethroned for the BRUTAL Fighting League Championship, Yoko Ohno! How will the Japanese Super Giant respond - and will the BRUTAL Board of Directors even allow the match to be scheduled?!
1. Cosmic Nightmare vs Dr. Matematico - Both men elicited a strong response from the crowd, but while Dr. Matematico was greetly warmly, Cosmic Nightmare was met with resounding boos. The back and forth matchup showcased Dr. Matematico's athleticism against Nightmare's hard striking. In the end, the strikes carried the day as Cosmic Nightmare secured the win with the Cosmic Hook.
After the match, Nightmare stoop up the dazed Dr. Matematico, and leveled him with another Cosmic Hook! This prompted fellow ZDL member Disturbed Youth to sprint to the ring for the save, but right as he slid in under the ropes, Crimson Cross appeared out of nowhere to spear him down! Things broke down in a hurry with Youth and Cross tearing at each other and Nightmare still trying to land shots on Dr. Matematico! In the end the men had to be separated by BRUTAL Security! Despite their seeming shared enemies, there did not appear to be any love lost between Cross and Nightmare as they were escorted from the ring area!
2. Tommy Hawk vs Buck Tomkins - Tommy Hawk absolutely squashed Buck Tomkins, nailing him with the Tommy Gunn imediately after the bell for a very quick victory! (Fast Forward)
Backstage, Rampage was asked for comment in the locker room area. "Comment? You want a comment? ... I DON'T GOT A COMMENT, I GOT A DEMAND INSTEAD! This place is supposedta be so "brutal" huh, then how come the only guys I get to fight are Power Ranger lookin rejects like that punk Ultra Sanda?! This is supposedta be the place for combat, huh?! Well you geeks on the Board better get me somebody worth a DARN to fight OR I'LL TEAR THIS WHOLE PLACE DOWN AROUND YOUR HEADS!... How's that comment?!!"
3. Shane Studd vs El Halcon - The BRUTAL Fighting League champion received his usual riotous ovation, but El Halcon was clearly not impressed, taking the fight right to the champ. In the end, El Halcon might have been game but did not have the skills to match Studd on this night, who got the win with the Belly to Belly Suplex.
Afterwards, Studd picked up the microphone. "Last week, I called out Yoko Ohno, the man I BEAT for this title, and told him that if he wanted a rematch, all he had to do was name the time and place! Now I don't know about any of you, but I haven't seen or heard anything from Yoko, or that weasel-face runt Doug Gordon all week! So either they don't want a piece of Shane Studd, or--"
Studd is abruptly cut off by Yoko Ohno's music, as he makes his way to the stage, flanked by Douglas R. Gordon, who has his own microphone. "Shane Studd... Shane... Shane... your bravado is quite admirable. Really, it is. Making challenges, and calling out my client, the Japanese Super-Giant Yoko Ohno, when you know well and good that you -- yes, even YOU -- do not have the authority to make matches here in the BRUTAL Fighting League." Gordon is forced to pause amid boos. "No, that authority rests soley and completely in the hands of the BRUTAL Board of Directors--" Gordon is cut off again amidst an even more vigorous expression of vitriol. "The BRUTAL Board of Directors," Gordon restarts, "whom I have been in close contact with over the past 7 days, and whom have granted me the authorization to make the following statement."
Gordon makes a big show about taking a letter out of his breast pocket, opening it and unfolding the single sheet inside, and then reading. "Mr. Gordon, please be advised that your client Yoko Ohno, as former BRUTAL Fighting League Champion, shall be granted a REMATCH against Shane Studd at the next BRUTAL Fighting League Showdown event. However, this decision is rendered solely by the BRUTAL Board of Directors, and Shane Studd, nor any other Brutalist, has the authority to make matches, and any attempt to do so will be met with extreme sanctions!" Scattered boos here as Gordon pauses, as the audience realizes that while Studd is being rebuked by the Board, he is still getting what he wants.
Back in the ring, Studd laughs mockingly, "Gordon, I don't care if I make the match, the Board makes the match, or some mark on the internet rolls a bunch of dice and makes the match, as long as I get my hands on that tub, ha ha, you'll get a front row seat to see me beat his a$$ once again, 1-2-3!" With both microphones thrown down, Studd and Gordon continue to jaw at each other, as Yoko stands as a silent, stoic giant, as the broadcast closes out.

BRUTAL Fighting League 13
Last week, the BRUTAL Board of Governors made it official – Shane Studd will face Yoko Ohno in a rematch for the BRUTAL Fighting League Championship at Showdown 2!
1. Road Rage vs Tommy Hawk - Neither of these men are afraid to take matters to the extreme, and the BRUTAL Fighting League official had his hands full keeping this match under control. Road Rage had the size advantage but Tommy was able to take things out of the ring and even the odds. In the end Road Rage picked up the win via Suicide Clutch, but this match would never be confused for a mat classic.
2. Buck Tomkins vs Muck – Both men pounded on one another in this matchup of big burly hosses. In the end Muck took home the victory following a series of Grimy Headbutts. But the real story was after the pinfall, when Rampage hit the ring and assaulted both men, leaving them laying! Rampage then bellowed in the direction of the cameras, “I told you I wanted competition! Nobody’s safe now! NOBODY!”
Backstage, Crimson Cross was asked for a comment. Cross looked around the room and behind himself, before staring with sullen eyes directly into the camera. "Disturbed Youth... last week I showed you what I think of your little "mind games"... I don't play mind games, punk. I don't play "games." What I do... is fight! And I'll keep fighting as long as it takes for you to get the message that you can't beat me!"
With the last statement still hanging in the air, Disturbed Youth's voice echoed out from seemingly everywhere! "Crimson Crooosssss... Crimson Crooosssss..." This instantly infuriated Cross, who wheeled around looking for his rival. "Where are you?! SHOW YOURSELF PUNK!" And at that, Cross snapped, tearing apart lockers and flipping tables, smashing cabinets and throwing anything he could get his hands on, the whole time screaming for Youth to come out and face him!
3. Yoko Ohno vs Ultra Sanda - It was now time for the main event. Ultra Sanda, who has promised to bring justice to the BRUTAL Fighting League was introduced first, to a moderate response from the crowd. But the arrival of his opponent, flanked by Douglas R. Gordon, brought a shower of jeers.
"Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Douglas R. Gordon, and I am the representative of the NEXT BRUTAL Fighting League Champion, the Japanese Super-Giant, Yoko Ohno! And while I applaud the courage -- if not the intelligence -- of Mr. Sanda in accepting this match, I must advise you to leave the ring now, take the loss, but save yourself the physical assault which you have signed up for." This elicits a renewed round of boos. "No one will think the less of you Mr. Sanda -- discretion is indeed the better part of valor!"
In the ring, Ultra Sanda doesn't look like he is ready to walk away, gesturing for Yoko to get into the ring! Gordon begins again, "If that's what you want, Mr. Sanda! Don't say that we did not give you a fair chance to walk away!"
The match went as expected, with Ohno using his tremendous size and strength to his advantage. But Ultra Sanda kept coming, striking his larger foe with his educated feet and then getting out of range. And no matter how many times Ohno slammed him to the mat, Sanda kept getting back on his feet!
Finally, when Ohno had Sanda set up for the final blow, Shane Studd's music hit! Out on the stage came all three members of ZDL, taunting Ohno and Gordon! Ohno dropped Sanda, while he and Gordon faced the stage, expecting some sort of attack... but Ohno should have kept one eye on his opponent! Sanda took advantage of the distraction, and nailed Ohno with the Zero Bomber, knocking him out of the ring in the process! On the way down, Ohno landed on top of Gordon, squashing him to the floor! With Ohno unable to regain his feet, and Gordon out like the proverbial sack of potatoes, the official started the count!
With the entire crowd on their feet, the count finally reached 10! Ultra Sanda had overcome his monstrous foe and won via a countout! Sanda didn't stick around to gloat, as he jumped over the top rope and then over the guardrail! He was immediately mobbed by the unhinged BRUTAL fans, and the celebration raged as the broadcast ended!
NEXT WEEK: In what may be the biggest upset in the history of BRUTAL Fighting League, Ultra Sanda defeated Yoko Ohno! What kind of mood will the Japanese Super-Giant be in -- and who will suffer?! Can anyone or anything contain Rampage?! Will the mind games continue between Crimson Cross and Disturbed Youth? Find out next week!
