Thanks my friend, that was a fun card but as noted the last three matches were over very quickly. If this were on ppv there would have been a riot I was also happy to see Rabbid get a much needed win. He seems like such a force so it was crazy that he went into that bout 0-4. I am trying to run the GBF like a sports league so the guys on the bottom of the rankings are in danger of getting cut in favor of free agents being signed. Right now my roster is just from the first set but I may increase the roster total to twenty or twenty-five in the future to keep things fresh. I am also looking forward to getting Duos action going so I will have to think up some tag teams to put together. I typically run 7 matches in a card. Once I had a card with good build up have like 4-5 matches end with FF or one to two moves. Drive me nuts, but it was what it was. I am going with six, eight or ten match cards depending on how I want to present it. I actually enjoy the quick matches as kind of like MMA the finish can came out of nowhere. It was just funny to have three in a row like that. I am thinking that the ring entrances probably ran longer than the matches I could definitely see how it could drive you nuts but in a way it makes the game unpredictable and that is a good thing.

Card #7 - Stonehenge Hall
Free Agent Challenge: Party Pirate defeated El Halcon (KO - Party Punch) Tiki Boom defeated Tick Tock (TKO - Totem Throw) Punk A.D. defeated Ken Po (KO - Sonic Boom Kick) Rocky defeated Bobcat Jack (KO - Super Combo KO) Yoko-Ohno defeated Vincitor (TKO - Pick Up and Toss) War Hawk defeated Honest Abe (TKO - War Dance) Rabbid defeated Death Star (TKO - Spine Smasher) GBF Universal Heavyweight title: The Messenger© defeated Krusher Khan (KO - Knee Blaster) to retain the title
(Promoter Notes: The mystical Stonehenge Hall played host to a big night of GBF action headlined by The Messenger beating Krusher Khan to retain the GBF Universal Heavyweight title. This match was incredible with both men hitting their finisher a few times but they were unable to put the other away. A counter by The Messenger led to a wicked finish and a successful version two defense of his title. Rabbid scored a second straight win beating Death Star in another great bout. I have really been disappointed in Honest Abe who lost again and finds himself at the bottom of the rankings. Abe needs to shape up or he could be replaced on the roster. The best undercard bout was Punk A.D. over Ken Po. That win puts Punk in contention for a title shot. Punk will face former GBF Universal champ War Hawk at the Freedom Coliseum (Card #8) to determine the next title challenger. The GBF Board of Directors continues to discuss putting a Duos division together and we may see the first such match in the GBF soon.)

Card #8 - Freedom Coliseum
Free Agent Showcase: UK Bruiser defeated Fire Ant (KO - Solid Knee Plus) Ratchet defeated Death Star (KO - Rapid Fire Kicks) Honest Abe defeated Tick Tock (KO - Ax Handle Smash) Rabbid defeated Yoko-Ohno (TKO - Spine Smasher) Tiki Boom defeated Rocky (KO - Boom Shaka-Laka) Punk A.D. defeated War Hawk (KO - Sonic Boom Kick)
(Promoter Notes: The impressive Punk A.D. earned a shot at the GBF Universal Heavyweight title beating former champion War Hawk in the main event. Punk will face The Messenger for the championship at the Mercury Gardens Arena (Card #10). War Hawk pushed Punk to the limit but fell in the end to the Sonic Boom Kick. The surging Tiki Boom picked up another win beating Rocky in the semi-final. Tiki Boom faces Krusher Khan in the main event at the Mooseville Civic Center (Card #9) and a win there will put him in line for a title shot. Honest Abe saved his roster spot with a win over Tick Tock and now Tick Tock finds himself on the bottom rung and facing a possible release from his contract. There are plenty of free agents looking for roster spots and two of them, UK Bruiser and Fire Ant, had a heck of a match in the opener. The GBF will be testing out the Duos Division on Card #9 with a Free Agent Duos Showcase match pitting the Rocket Riot Express (Ricky Riot & Robby Rocket) against the formidable team of Crimson Cross & Freakenstein.)

Card #9 - Mooseville Civic Center
Free Agent Duos Showcase: Rocket Riot Express defeated Crimson Cross & Freakenstein (Riot over Crimson - KO - World Rocker) Free Agent Challenge: Dragon Blood defeated Rocky (submission - Dragon Cross) Yoko-Ohno defeated Death Star (TKO - Bonzai Splash) Party Pirate defeated Tick Tock (KO - Party Punch) Ken Po defeated Ratchet (KO - Ryuken) War Hawk defeated Bobcat Jack (TKO - War Dance) Vincitor defeated Honest Abe (submission - Kinniku Special) Tiki Boom defeated Krusher Khan (KO - Boom Shaka-Laka)
(Promoter Notes: Tiki Boom has been on a tear and on this night he defeated the double tough Krusher Khan, moving ahead of the Russian star in the rankings. As a result Tiki Boom has been awarded a shot at the GBF Universal Heavyweight title when the GBF returns to Gotham Square Garden for Card #12. Tiki Boom lost to current champion The Messenger in the first round of the title tournament at GSG on Card #1 so he will have a chance to avenge that defeat. That is if The Messenger gets by his next title challenger Punk A.D. when they meet on Card #10 at the Mercury Gardens Arena. Either way Tiki Boom will be facing the champion at GSG. Some history was made on this show as the Rocket Riot Express (Ricky Riot & Robby Rocket) defeated Crimson Cross & Freakenstein in the first ever Duos Match in the GBF which was a test match featuring free agent stars. The match was very well received and as a result a Duos Match featuring GBF stars will take place in the main event on Card #11 at the Monster Island Coliseum with teams to be announced.
Both Honest Abe and Tick Tock lost their roster spots with the GBF on this card due to losses to Vincitor and Party Pirate, respectively. Both men were at the bottom of the rankings and needed to pick up a win in order to avoid being cut. A random draw was held following the card among prior free agent showcase and challenge winners with the impressive Dragon Blood and Mr. Ion officially being added to the GBF roster.)

I like your take on things, how you do matches and then recap. I must try that.

I like your take on things, how you do matches and then recap. I must try that. I actually don't write the notes until I copy and paste the results on here. I just review the card, set up the next one and remember key details and go from there. Try it I think you will like doing it that way.

Card #10 - Mercury Gardens Arena
Free Agent Showcase: Powermonger defeated Freddie Mercurio (submission - Divine Force) Bobcat Jack defeated Ratchet (KO - Superman Punch) Rabbid defeated Mr. Ion (TKO - Spine Smasher) Krusher Khan defeated Death Star (KO - Soviet Sickle) War Hawk defeated Ken Po (TKO - War Dance) Party Pirate defeated Yoko-Ohno (KO - Party Punch) Dragon Blood defeated Vincitor (submission - Dragon Cross - Fast Forward) GBF Universal Heavyweight title: Punk A.D. defeated The Messenger (submission - Steampunk Snare) to win the title
(Promoter Notes: Well there was a changing of the guard in the main event which I wasn't expecting as Punk A.D. won the GBF Universal Heavyweight title from The Messenger. It only took him three moves to do it as he rolled an unsuccessful Fast Forward to start but followed up with two quick strikes to take it. The Messenger had two successful title defenses but I was hoping for a longer reign. Punk will have his first title defense against Tiki Boom when the GBF returns to Gotham Square Garden (Card #12). Two new members of the roster had very different debuts. Mr. Ion was quickly defeated by Rabbid while Dragon Blood scored a strong Fast Forward win over Vincitor. It will be interesting to see how both men fare in upcoming events. Party Pirate, who has an impressive won-loss record, scored a huge win, literally, over Yoko-Ohno. He survived a strong offense from Yoko-Ohno before nailing him with the Party Punch. Death Star has been underperforming (3-6 record) and could be in jeopardy of losing his roster spot. Next up is a show at the Monster Island Coliseum featuring a Duos Match main event with Dragon Blood & Rocky taking on Rabbid & Death Star. This will be the first Duos Match held with GBF roster members as the previous one involved free agents. The Messenger faces Yoko-Ohno in the semi-final in a match I am really looking forward to.)

Loving your results and too bad The Messenger couldn't hold onto the gold, but I could see him getting another crack in the future...

I love your venue names. I may have to.look in to using them. No problem go for it. The funny thing is I am just thinking them up on the fly as I am only planning on or two cards ahead. I would be happy to see other promoters using the venue names.

Card #11 - Monster Island Coliseum
Free Agent Showcase: Papa Dhark defeated Soda City Slugger (KO - Yoga Inferno) Free Agent Showcase: Demtor the Mystic defeated Fahrenheit (TKO - Flood) Ken Po defeated Vincitor (KO - Ryuken) War Hawk defeated Ratchet (TKO - War Dance) Bobcat Jack defeated Krusher Khan (KO - Superman Punch) Party Pirate defeated Mr. Ion (KO - Party Punch) The Messenger defeated Yoko-Ohno (KO - Last Rites) Duos Match: Rabbid & Death Star defeated Dragon Blood & Rocky (Rabbid over Dragon Blood - TKO - Jackhammer)
(Promoter Notes: The main event was the first Duos Match involving the GBF roster and Rabbid & Death Star looked pretty strong in their win over Dragon Blood & Rocky. I am slowly building up a Duos Division using both GBF and free agent stars and at some point that will lead to a tag title tournament. Best match of the night goes to Party Pirate vs. Mr. Ion. Party Pirate continues building an impressive record and should be in line for a title opportunity. Mr. Ion really gave him a battle, though, so it will be interesting to see how he fares on upcoming events. The Messenger rebounded from his GWF Universal title loss with a strong win over Yoko-Ohno. Both Free Agent Showcase matches were good and I was really impressed by Demtor the Mystic so he could be offered a full-time GBF contract soon. I am looking to expand the roster sometime soon. There are also rumors of a secondary singles title being added to the GBF. The next event will be Card #12 from Gotham Square Garden featuring the return of the Rocket Riot Express in a Free Agent Showcase match against The Colony (Fire Ant & Carpenter Ant) plus Crimson Cross and Space Monkey featured in Free Agent bouts. The main roster bouts will feature Dragon Blood vs. Mr. Ion, Bobcat Jack vs. Ken Po, War Hawk vs. Yoko-Ohno and Tiki Boom vs. Punk A.D. for the GBF Universal title among the featured matches.)

Card #12 - Gotham Square Garden
Free Agent Showcase: Saint Nick defeated Crimson Cross (submission - Sentinal Sleeper) Free Agent Showcase - Duos Match: The Colony defeated Rocket Riot Express (Fire Ant over Ricky Riot by TKO - Backdrafter) Free Agent Challenge: Party Pirate defeated Space Monkey (KO - Party Punch) Rabbid defeated Ratchet (TKO - Spine Smasher) Dragon Blood defeated Mr. Ion (submission - Dragon Cross) Vincitor defeated The Messenger (submission - Kinniku Special) Bobcat Jack defeated Ken Po (KO - Superman Punch) Rocky defeated Krusher Khan (KO - Super Combo KO) War Hawk defeated Yoko-Ohno (TKO - War Dance) GBF Universal Heavyweight title: Punk A.D.© defeated Tiki Boom (TKO - Back Blaster) to retain the title
(Promoter Notes: The return to GSG was a pretty incredible night of action capped off by Punk A.D. making a successful version one defense of the GBF Universal title over Tiki Boom. That was a title shot that Tiki Boom earned but unfortunately for him he was pretty much dominated by Punk A.D. It was an interesting night for two former champions as War Hawk toppled the massive Yoko-Ohno in a great bout while The Messenger suffered a shocking submission loss to Vincitor. By virtue of his win War Hawk has been named the next challenger to Punk A.D. on Card #15 at the Big River Auditorium. The Messenger was beside himself with anger after tapping out to the Kinniku Special and it will be interesting to see how he rebounds from the defeat. It will also be interesting to see if Vincitor can build on the momentum of that huge win.
In a battle reminiscent of Rocky Balboa vs. Ivan Drago it was Rocky scoring a big KO win over Krusher Khan. Many called that match of the night with the Free Agent Showcase between Saint Nick and Crimson Cross coming a close second. In fact the match between Saint Nick, who is undefeated, and Crimson Cross led to both men being offered contracts by the GBF. Dragon Blood remains undefeated with his win over Mr. Ion and one has to wonder if he will make a quick climb to a title shot. The Colony (Fire Ant & Carpenter Ant) looked great in their Duos Division win over the Rocket Riot Express. The two free agent teams are strong candidates to be officially added to the Duos Division of the GBF. The next GBF card at the Wild Kingdom Pavilion (Card #13) will feature a most interesting Duos Match as Rabbid & Death Star will take on the combination of Bobcat Jack and the "Raging Bull" Manny Fernandez. GBF officials recently signed Fernandez, a legendary pro wrestler, to a full-time contract and many are anticipating his official in-ring debut.
The GBF has announced an agreement with GLITTER, the all-girl fight league, with a big debut show taking place at the Glitter Dome (Card #16). Ratchet, who was part of the GBF male roster, has decided to leave and join Glitter full-time and due to her existing win-loss record she has been announced as the first entrant in the GBF Glitter Championship tournament which will take place that same night. GBF officials are also reviewing the idea of adding a secondary title in the male division but nothing has been made official yet.)

Loved the fights at the GSG, but man Saint Nick winning over Crimson Cross SUCKS! I call foul on Nick. Good stuff with both Nick and Cross getting GBF contracts. Gotta love Rocky vs. Krusher Khan with Rocky taking down the Soviet, fun stuff...

Gotta love Rocky vs. Krusher Khan with Rocky taking down the Soviet, fun stuff... I called foul too, Saint Nick kept escaping defeat in that match and then actually won it. I really felt that Crimson Cross was going to get the win but Saint Nick kept in it all the way to the end. As noted both men have been signed to GBF contracts as I felt the match pretty much tore the house down. In that case take comfort in the defeat suffered by CC As for Rocky vs. Khan the funny thing is it didn't really occur to me until I started rolling the match that it was pretty much like Rocky vs. Drago so that might turn into a nice rivalry. Thanks for the comments my friend.
