I like your results style. It sucks SN dropped the ball once he got the shot. That's the beauty and the beast of the game.

I like that Punk A.D. retained, it's great when the champ continues a reign. Good to see Manny Fernandez over Rocky, plus a good win for the Rocket Riot Express. Now a fast victory for Punk over the undefeated Nick shocks everyone, but 3 successful title defenses for the defending champ is what we needed to see...

Thanks Dustin and Crimson, Saint Nick really blew his big chance there but yeah that is a great part of the game as you never know what can happen. Punk hit the move and Nick rolled his POP on defense and that was all she wrote. Manny Fernandez remains undefeated in singles bouts so he is rising quickly up the rankings.

Card #18 - Parts Unknown Coliseum
Free Agent Duos Showcase: Rocket Riot Express defeated Fahrenheit & Celsius (Robby Rocket over Celsius by TKO - Drop Zone) Free Agent Challenge: Buck Tomkins defeated Death Star (TKO - Thundering Stampede) Manny Fernandez defeated Rocky (KO - Flying Burrito) Krusher Khan defeated Yoko-Ohno (KO - Soviet Sickle) Duos Match: Party Pirate & Tiki Boom defeated War Hawk & Vincitor (Party Pirate over Vincitor by KO - Party Punch) Dragon Blood defeated Ken Po (submission - Dragon Cross) The Messenger defeated Rabbid (KO - Last Rites) GBF Universal Heavyweight title: Punk A.D.© defeated Saint Nick (KO - Sonic Boom Kick) to retain the title
(Promoter Notes: The main event was a disappointment as the undefeated Saint Nick lost in literally one move. Punk A.D. made his version three title defense a quick one as he knocked out Nick with the Sonic Boom Kick as the two were about to lock up. That version three defense also set a title defense record in the brief history of the belt. A very interesting situation took place after the match as free agent star Ricky Stallion made a surprise debut going nose-to-nose with Punk A.D. who responded by holding up his GBF Universal Heavyweight title belt. Stallion demanded a shot at the title but Punk A.D. refused saying that he would have to earn it. Former champion War Hawk then entered the caged ring and went right at Stallion but GBF officials prevented a physical altercation. It was subsequently announced that Stallion will make his official GBF debut facing War Hawk at the Dark Forest Pavilion (Card #19).
Another quick match with an interesting follow-up saw Krusher Khan immediately hit the Soviet Sickle on Yoko-Ohno for a quick KO win. Khan helped Ohno up afterward and the two shook hands agreeing to become a tag team in the Duos Division. Their first match as a team will be at the Dark Forest Pavilion as they take on Dragon Blood & Rocky. With the Duos title tournament on the horizon many teams have been forming with the hope to earn a spot in the tournament. Party Pirate & Tiki Boom and the Rocket Riot Express both picked up wins at the Parts Unknown Coliseum so they could be among those chosen to compete for the belts. The "Ragin Bull" Manny Fernandez remains undefeated with his win over Rocky while free agent Buck Tomkins earned himself an official GBF contract by virtue of his strong win over Death Star.)
I see Punk's win not as a disappointment, but as build-up. Perhaps Nick appears and announces that he was injured leading up to the fight, and Punk didn't get him at his best, because at his best Punk loses the belt & Punk knows it. Then you could build to another match-up between the two. I really like how you're writing Stallion, and the heat between he and War Hawk was great. Really looking forward to that fight next week! Finally, being a HUGE Messenger mark...GO MESSENGER! Great show my friend! Keep up the excellent work!!

Finally, being a HUGE Messenger mark...GO MESSENGER! Great show my friend! Keep up the excellent work!! I think you will be happy as it looks like The Messenger has earned himself another title shot. I should have that booked soon. I like your take on the Saint Nick vs. Punk A.D. match. I was just disappointed by it as Saint Nick went in undefeated (5-0) only to fall on the opening move. If anything it made Punk look good in solidifying his title reign. I knew I didn't want to give Stallion a title shot right off the bat but it did make sense for him to debut trying to insert himself into the title picture. War Hawk is not only a former champion but I almost envision him versus Stallion as being like Wahoo vs. Flair from the Mid-Atlantic territory. I am looking forward to rolling that match.

Card #19 - The Dark Forest Pavilion
Glitter Showcase: Razortooth defeated Kay Fabe (KO - Clawed STO) Free Agent Showcase: Southern G defeated American Beetle (submission - Tuscumbia Triangle) Death Star defeated Bobcat Jack (TKO - Death March) Vincitor defeated Mr. Ion (submission - Tatsunori Twister) Duos Match: Dragon Blood & Rocky defeated Yoko-Ohno & Krusher Khan (Rocky over Yoko-Ohno by KO - Uppercut Dash) Ken Po defeated Crimson Cross (KO - Ryuken) The Messenger defeated Manny Fernandez (KO - Last Rites) War Hawk defeated Ricky Stallion (KO - War Dance)
(Promoter Notes: The highly anticipated in-ring debut of Ricky Stallion did not go as he would have wanted as he lost to former GBF Universal Heavyweight champion War Hawk in a hard fought main event. Stallion got in some key offense during the battle but War Hawk relied on his resilience to battle back and put his arrogant foe away with the War Dance. Stallion was not pleased when he returned to the locker room as he briskly walked past reporters before bumping into Soviet star Krusher Khan. The two had an intense stare down which almost became physical until the massive Yoko-Ohno got in between the two. Khan, still bitter about he and Ohno losing to Dragon Blood & Rocky in Duos action earlier, threatened Stallion and dared him to meet in the ring at the next GBF event. Stallion accepted and the two will face off at Stonehenge Hall (Card #20) on a card headlined by Dragon Blood facing Rabbid.
Former GBF Universal Heavyweight champion The Messenger will get his long awaited title rematch against reigning champion Punk A.D. on the upcoming card at the North Cal Coliseum (Card #21). The Messenger has been in top form of late and he proved that at The Dark Forest Pavilion by handing the "Raging Bull" Manny Fernandez his first defeat. Fernandez knew that a win would move him into the title picture and he gave The Messenger an incredible battle before going down to Last Rites. Crimson Cross may have lost his battle with Ken Po but it took three doses of the Ryuken to put him away. Cross is definitely on the verge of breaking through in the GBF. The hottest match of the night may have been between two favorites, Vincitor and Mr. Ion. The fans were split in their support of the two who waged a great back and forth battle before Vincitor picked up the big win. Glitter stars Razortooth and Kay Fabe tore it up in the opener in another great back and forth bout.
Duos action has become the talk of the GBF of late and with the championship tournament coming up at Gotham Square Garden (Card #25) many teams are vying for spots. The new free agent team of WMD (Maxx Damage, Blast Blasterson and Sledge Hammerstein) will get a chance to impress GBF officials when they face another three-man team in The Colony (Fire Ant, Soldier Ant & Carpenter Ant) at Stonehenge Hall. Both teams will have to reduce their numbers to two prior to the match. There are also strong rumors that GBF officials are negotiating with a legendary Duos team to take a spot in the tournament and if that happens it will be a real shocker.)

Yeah his debut ended with War Hawk winning, but I doubt that will stop Ricky Stallion from a rebound and starting his winning ways in the GBF. It is good to see The Messenger get a win and yes it had to come by beating Manny Fernandez, but now a title rematch will end in my view with The Messenger coming away with the belt...

I agree as you can already see that Ricky Stallion is picking a fight with Krusher Khan and he will likely meet up with War Hawk again. In a way I kind of enjoyed War Hawk winning that match as it reminded me of the veteran Wahoo McDaniel getting the better of a young Ric Flair back in the Mid-Atlantic days. It's cool when you can make those comparisons with some of the GFP stars. Heck you could put together a Mid-Atlantic promotion with guys like Hawk, Stallion, Dragon Blood, the Raging Bull, Ravi Shing and of course the impending arrival of the Rock n' Roll Express. I was hoping that Fernandez might win that bout to cement himself to challenge the winner of Messenger-Punk but it was not to be.

Card #20 - Stonehenge Hall
Free Agent Duos Showcase: WMD defeated The Colony (Blasterson over Fire Ant by KO - Blast Off) Buck Tomkins defeated Bobcat Jack (TKO - Thundering Stampede) Ken Po defeated Tiki Boom (KO - Ryuken - Fast Forward) Vincitor defeated Party Pirate (submission - Kinniku Special) Ricky Stallion defeated Krusher Khan (submission - Queen City Lock) Rabbid defeated Dragon Blood (TKO - Spine Smasher)
Promoter Notes: This six bout card at the legendary Stonehenge Hall opened up with an impressive debut for WMD, represented by Maxx Damage & Blast Blasterson, as they took on Fire Ant & Carpenter Ant of The Colony in free agent Duos action. With GBF officials watching all Duos teams closely as we move towards the championship tournament it looks like WMD could land a spot among the sixteen scheduled entrants. Buck Tomkins, who was recently signed to a GBF contract, continued his impressive undefeated run with a quick win over the double tough Bobcat Jack. Ken Po has also been on an impressive run of late as he defeated Tiki Boom fast forward style. Vincitor fans were out in full force and enjoyed his hard fought win over Party Pirate. Ricky Stallion impressed many by picking up his first GBF win over Krusher Khan. It was a solid bounce back from his debut loss to War Hawk at The Dark Forest Pavilion. The main event saw the massive Rabbid put Dragon Blood away in dominant fashion using his feared Spine Smasher finisher. Dragon Blood only has two singles losses in the GBF and both have come at the hands of Rabbid.
Next up will be a big show at the North Cal Coliseum headlined by The Messenger challenging Punk A.D. for the GBF Universal Heavyweight title. Will The Messenger become the first two-time champ or will Punk A.D. continue to add to his title defense record? There will be two Duos bouts on the card with Bobcat Jack & Manny Fernandez taking on Rabbid & Death Star and Party Pirate & Tiki Boom going against Crimson Cross & Freakenstein. The highly touted free agent Torn will also be featured in a Free Agent Challenge match taking on the undefeated Buck Tomkins and Saint Nick opposes Ricky Stallion in a highly anticipated showdown.
GBF officials are pleased to announced that they have secured a date at the brand new Kramden Memorial Gardens (Card #23), how sweet it is

Really enjoy reading your fed man. It has an old-school feel that I really connect with.
Excited to see the Rock n Roll Express debut in the tournament, and you know I'm excited to see The Messenger not only hand Fernandez his first loss, but in his impending title match against Punk (which The Messenger is going to win).
Great stuff in your league! Love the action!

Thanks for the comments Dustin and Eliath. It will be interesting to see if The Messenger can become the first two-time champ. The legendary Duos team hasn't been officially announced by the GBF yet but it looks like everyone knows who it is so yes the world's worst kept secret is out, the Rock n' Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) have been signed to compete in the Duos title tournament. GBF officials are also excited to be holding a show at the brand new Kramden Memorial Gardens named of course after everyone's favorite Gotham bus driver, Ralph Kramden. A wrestler and rocker from the west coast is also on his way in to the GBF having been signed to a lucrative contract but as of now his identity is a mystery.
Unfortunately dice rolling time has been limited for me but I hope to have the next GBF show posted soon.

Card #21 - North Cal Coliseum
Free Agent Challenge: Buck Tomkins defeated Torn (TKO - Thundering Stampede) Glitter Showcase: Serenity defeated April Fool (KO - Double Dragon) Duos Match: Party Pirate & Tiki Boom defeated Crimson Cross & Freakenstein (Tiki Boom over Crimson by KO - Boom Shaka-Laka) Ricky Stallion defeated Saint Nick (submission - Queen City Lock) Yoko-Ohno defeated War Hawk (KO - Bonzai Splash) Dragon Blood defeated Ken Po (submission - Dragon Cross) Duos Match: Rabbid & Death Star defeated Bobcat Jack & Manny Fernandez (Death Star over Jack - TKO - Death March) GBF Universal Heavyweight title: The Messenger defeated Punk A.D. (KO - Last Rites) to win the title
Promoter Notes: The Messenger became the first ever two-time holder of the GBF Universal Heavyweight title as he regained the belt from Punk A.D. before an SRO crowd at the North Cal Coliseum. Punk A.D. came out both guns blazing but The Messenger survived a Fast Forward attempt and three doses of the Sonic Boom Kick. From there it was a great battle of give and take with both men going all out to achieve victory. In the end it was The Messenger planting Punk A.D. with the Last Rites resulting in a knock out victory. The Messenger held the title belt up high and dared anyone to challenge him for it. That challenge was answered by GBF promoters who have signed the undefeated Buck Tomkins to challenge The Messenger for the title at the Castlevania Theatre (Card #26). Tomkins looked extremely impressive by defeating free agent standout Torn to open up the show. Torn unleashed a furious attack but Tomkins overcame that and hit his trademark Thundering Stampede for the win. When word got back to The Messenger about his first challenger he held up one finger meaning that Tomkins will suffer his first loss at the hands of the new champion.
With the GBF Duos Championship Tournament coming up at Gotham Square Garden (Card #25) all teams are looking to gain some added momentum going in. The Dark Forces combination of Rabbid & Death Star scored another impressive win over Bobcat Jack & "Raging Bull" Manny Fernandez with Death Star using the Death March on Jack for the win. Fernandez never even got tagged into the match as the Dark Forces dominated the bout. The popular pairing of Party Pirate & Tiki Boom picked up a big win over Crimson Cross & Freakenstein earlier as Tiki Boom got the KO on Crimson with the Boom Shaka-Laka. It was a hard fought bout and no question both teams are hopeful of getting added to the tournament. Speaking of that, GBF officials are proud to announce the first entrants into the GBF Duos Championship Tournament - the legendary Rock n' Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson)! They will be among sixteen duos teams looking to grab the gold.
The massive Yoko-Ohno picked up one of the biggest wins of his GBF career thus far as he defeated former Universal champ War Hawk. His crushing victory pleased Ricky Stallion who is still bitter over losing to War Hawk in his GBF debut. Stallion scored a strong win over Saint Nick earlier and is now set to face Dragon Blood in the main event at the Kramden Memorial Gardens (Card #23).
Next up for the GBF is a big card at the Mystic Island Arena (Card #22) featuring the debut of two new stars - Thunder Gold and L.A. Rizin. The main event will see Thunder Gold go one-on-one with Rabbid in a true battle of the titans while underneath it will be L.A. Rizin trying to get past the tough challenge of Crimson Cross. In addition to that, free agent Duos action will pit the Power Sluggers (Mega Power & Soda City Slugger) against the Swamp Beasts (Muck & Grim) and you can bet that GBF officials will be scouting both teams for a possible spot in the title tournament.

A fun show from the NCC with a top win by The Messenger and it's good he won the gold for a 2nd time, too bad Cross & Freak lost. Hold on, hold on it is L.A.Rizin versus Crimson Cross, you know who I want to win and your having them face off right out of the gate in Rizins debut...
