Knuckles is probably my all time favorite guy, but don't tell Vincitor or Death Star that.

Knuckles is probably my all time favorite guy, but don't tell Vincitor or Death Star that. It's funny you say that because Vincitor and Death Star are my two main guys.

Card #17:
*The Examiner d. Space Monkey (**3/4). Debut matches for both, in GFP, with the popular Monkey going down to the actuarial talents of the Examiner. *Rock & Roll Express d. Ricky Stallion & J.J. Houston (**). Something tells this GFP reporter that we may not have seen the last of this...but first up for the Rock & Roll's will be a title shot (they were guaranteed immediate Tag Title shots as a condition of coming to GFP. That, and America needs its honor defended against the Red Menace!). *Demtor d. El Pikador (**1/4). Demtor's back in action, and picks right back up with another win. He doesn't seem like he's quite ready to exit the title picture! .............Intermission.................. *Thunder Gold d. Argyle Gargoyle (**1/2). Lots of debuts going on, but in this battle of big men, 'Gold takes the win! Mr. Gold is now firmly in the World Title picture. Main Event: GFP World Championship. Manny Fernandez d. Ken Po to capture his 1st GFP World Championship (****). Fernandez, ever the class act (at least in this version of the galaxy ), raised Po's arm and put him over with the crowd, recognizing what a great champion he has been for GFP. And then...suddenly, and maliciously....as the referee was placing the GFP belt around Fernandez's waist, he was attacked Pearl Harbor-style by...The Messenger!! The Messenger first put the boots to Fernandez, then rained blows down on Fernandez's head, punishing the tired new champion who now wore a Crimson Mask! What insanity is this? Does The Messenger see something evil in Fernandez, or has he just lost it, wanting revenge from Card 15?? Stay tuned GFP fans, as this story develops... Next Card: The GFP World Tag-Team Championship takes center stage, as Krusher Khan & Red Cyclone defend their newly won titles against America's best and brightest, The Rock & Roll Express! That, and we'll hope to sort out this World Title picture, as while Thunder Gold & Knuckles Sanvich by rights and rank should be next in line, our champion may want to deal with The Messenger first! That'll do it for tonight GFP fans. Thanks for your fine patronage, and have a great evening!

Folks, the GFP will be on brief hiatus to allow for its promoter (that would be me!) to do some travelling over the next week and a half (some business, some pleasure). Rest assured, the GFP will resume its schedule when the travels conclude, as we move towards the end of Season 1. Thanks for all your support!

That's bologna! GFP is very much a traveling game. This is like TBS standing us up on Saturday night for a Braves game. I kid. Have fun and be safe.

Card #18:
*The Examiner d. Buck Tomkins (****1/2). Great opener, 2 wins in a row for The Examiner! *Bobcat Jack d. J.J. Houston (**1/2). Houston off to a rough start in GFP. *Lionheart d. Knuckles Sanvich (***). Down goes Knuckles, first loss in a while. This may have derailed him a bit in his quest for gold....big win for Lionheart though! *GFP Womens Championship: Paige d. April Fool handily, taking down a rather unpopular champion, and capturing her first GFP gold! (**). .............Intermission..................... Main Event: GFP World Tag-Team Championship. The Rock & Roll Express d. Krusher Khan & Red Cyclone to capture their first GFP Tag Titles in convincing fashion, maintaining their undefeated record in GFP competition (***). All hail the new champs....'Merica rules again! Next Card: GFP fans, the next card will feature the Heritage Title in the Main Event, as War Hawk takes on champion U.K. Bruiser. Also, this just in from GFP HQ...Manny Fernandez will indeed take on The Messenger for the GFP World Title on Card #20, bypassing the top contenders, in an effort to gain revenge against The Messenger's sneak attack. The Messenger, for his part, is still insisting that the fans are failing to "see Manny Fernandez's true character", that his "soul is black", despite appearances to the contrary. Fernandez just shakes his head, hinting that The Messenger has just "lost it". Stay tuned... That'll do it for tonight GFP fans. Thanks for your fine patronage, and have a great evening!

I'll have to tell Paige that she's the new champion in your neck of the woods. She'll like that

Card #19:
*X'ian d. Rocky (**1/4). Rocky just can't buy a win lately. *Hollywood Gunn d. Powermonger (*1/2). Big win for Gunn, over one of the GFP's best...and most hated! *Auditor & Examiner d. L.A. Rizin & Buck Tomkins in tag action (**). *Ricky Stallion d. Punk A.D. (**3/4). Stallion spoils Punk's return to GFP action, vaulting Stallion back into the title picture.
...............Intermission....................
*Demtor d. Ken Po (***1/2). This feud continues to rage on, with Demtor getting the win tonight!
Main Event: GFP Heritage Championship. U.K. Bruiser (1st defense) d. Warhawk to retain the Heritage Championship (**3/4). Bruiser weathered a furious initial attack by the great chief to retain the title!
Next Card: The much anticipated showdown between GFP World Champ Manny Fernandez and The Messenger takes center stage on our next action-packed card of GFP action! Why is The Messenger so intent on taking down Fernandez? For his part, Fernandez continues to insist that The Messenger's "lost it".
That'll do it for tonight GFP fans. Thanks for your fine patronage, and have a great evening!

Card #20:
*American Beetle & Space Monkey d. Powermonger & Valentino Massacre (may have butchered that name a bit...my apologies!) in a fun opening bout (**). *J.J. Houston d. L.A. Rizin (**1/2). Houston notches his first singles win. *Lionheart d. Vincitor (**1/2). 2nd straight high-level win for Lionheart, puts him at least in the Heritage Title picture! *Bobcat Jack d. Ricky Stallion (**3/4). Stallion's momentum is derailed by possibly the toughest dude in GFP.
..............Intermission.................
*Hollywood Gunn d. Harrow (**1/2). Another big win for Gunn, who was impressive in this contest. Harrow saw stars in his debut!
Main Event: GFP World Championship. Manny Fernandez (1st Defense) d. The Messenger. Fernandez stood up after the 1-2-3, seemingly appreciative of the cheers of the crowd...and then, suddenly, and viciously, he started putting the boots to The Messenger, stomping a mud hole in his downed opponent. But Fernandez didn't stop there. No, after stomping him senseless, he picked up The Messenger, and slammed him hard to the mat twice, then stood over his now-defenseless (and presumably unconscious) opponent taunting him. Fernandez stalked off, ignoring the crowd (who was now firmly booing his actions), with a sinister smile upon his face. It seems The Messenger was right about Fernandez after all.....
Next Card: What madness is this?? Has our beloved champion of the people been a wolf in sheep's clothing all this time? We will have to see how all this sorts it outself out GFP fans. Until then, headlining our next card of action is the GFP World Tag-Team Championship, as The Rock & Roll Express defend their titles against the team of Rava Shing and Papa Dhark. Also Bien Vestido makes his GFP debut against Gran Cazador.

The turn reminds me of when he sold out to Paul Jones and laid out Boogey Woogey Man. Manny can't be trusted.
