Thanks for the feedback folks. Manny to me was always a better heel than a face. This has been a fun turn. CC, I'm running with Gunn a bit. He's starting to catch fire, we'll see if it can last! I have his COTG bootleg too, which I'm assuming was done by you too, and am giving him a little run in that universe as well. Gunn-mania baby...catch it!

Card #21:
*Rykezilla d. Crimson Cross (***1/2). Solid opener, poor Crimson Cross can't buy a win. *Bien Vestido d. Gran Cazador (***). Cazador also can't buy a win. Strong debut for Bien Vestido though! *General Shuck d. The Wrecker (**1/2). Fun debut for both, with the evil Shuck taking the day. *GFP Womens Championship: Mother Russia d. Paige to win the Womens Championship (**1/2). The Womens Title remains a hot potato. The fans were really disappointed that Paige lost tonight...can she get a rematch (hey...the fans do love her!)??
...............Intermission............................
*Ricky Stallion d. DragonBlood (***1/2). This rivalry is heating up fans!
Main Event: GFP World Tag-Team Championship. Rock & Roll Express (1st Defense) d. Papa Dhark & Ravi Shing to remain the GFP World Tag-Team Champions (*1/2). This one wasn't even close fans, as the RRX dominated right from the start, and ended it fast!
Next Card: The Heritage Title will headline our next star-studded card of GFP action, as the U.K. Bruiser defends the title against the rising Lionheart. Can the brash Lionheart defeat the tough U.K. Bruiser? Be sure to tune in, and catch all of the superstars of GFP!

Card #22:
*American Beetle & Space Monkey d. The Auditor & The Examiner (**). 2nd straight win for the crazy team of Beetle and Monkey...will they get a tag title shot?? *Rocky d. General Shuck (**3/4). The always popular Rocky notches a much needed win. *Blue Collar Brawler d. Hollywood Gunn (**3/4). Down goes Gunn...will this derail his momentum? Nice debut win for Brawler. *Eric Adonis d. L.A. Rizin (***).
...................Intermission......................
Main Event: GFP Heritage Championship. U.K. Bruiser (2nd Defense) d. Lionheart (**) to retain the Heritage Title. Bruiser continues his nice season (only one defeat!), and handles Lionheart while barely breaking a sweat.
Next Card: BREAKING NEWS!! GFP Headquarters has made the ruling that The Messenger will get a shot at revenge against GFP World Champion (and now all-around hated guy!) Manny Fernandez. Can The Messenger gain a measure of revenge for Fernandez's brutal and cowardly attack?? Tune in next card GFP fans!

I'm back from a few days on the road folks, and the GFP will roar back into action soon! Additional bouts signed for the next card of action include The Wrecker vs. Ricky Stallion (can Stallion continue his strong run as of late??), and the first 6-Man tag bout in GFP history, as the team of Powermonger, Harrow, and JJ Houston takes on Knuckles Sanvich, Buck Tomkins, and the debuting Mr. Ion. Should be fun! And of course, the feud between The Messenger and Manny Fernandez continues!
Results will crank back up in the next few days (as soon as I can find time to play the card!).
Thanks for your patronage GFP fans!

Card #23:
*American Sheik d. G.S. Lyle in the debut of both men (***1/2). *Atlas Stone & Hollywood Gunn d. General Shuck & the Blue Collar Brawler in tag action (*). *Ricky Stallion d. The Wrecker (***). Stallion remains hot. *In the first ever 6-Man Tag match in GFP history, the team of Powermonger, JJ Houston, & Harrow d. Mr. Ion, Buck Tomkins, and Knuckles Sanvich (***). Lots of fun action in this, very back and forth! ....................Intermission........................ *Dragon Blood d. Vincitor (**1/2). Poor Vincitor's in a bit of a tail spin as of late. Main Event: GFP World Championship. The Messenger gained a measure of sweet revenge by defeating former champion Manny Fernandez, winning his first World Title!! But later, as The Messenger celebrated, in a heinous act of poor sportsmanship, Fernandez grabbed the belt from The Messenger, and nailed him full-on in the face with it, knocking the Messenger senseless (gotta watch those belt shots folks! ). The Messenger was busted open, while Fernandez gloated above him! Next Card: Our next card of action will be our big year-end extravaganza (still unnamed, as of yet! ). Headlining the card will be the third and final match between The Messenger and Manny Fernandez, for the World Title...can this feud finally be settled?? Also featured will be the Heritage Championship, as U.K. Bruiser will defend against Ricky Stallion, Ken Po takes on mortal enemy Demtor, plus many more great bouts!

GFP's BATTLE OF THE BELTS I (Card #24):
At long last, here's Season 1's year-end extravaganza (??), featuring all of the major titles of GFP being defended on one show.
*GFP Womens Championship: Paige regained the GFP Womens Title by defeating Mother Russia, which got the show started off on a really high note! (**1/2) *GFP World Tag-Team Championship: The evil duo of Tick Tock & Rabbid d. The Rock & Roll Express to win the tag titles for a 2nd time! Boo! Boo! (***) *Thunder Gold d. Knuckles Sanvich in a battle top contenders (***). Mr. Gold is now (firmly) 1st in line for a World Title shot! *Demtor d. mortal enemy Ken Po in this ongoing feud (***1/2). Great year by Ken Po, only marred slightly by this loss.
................Intermission........................
*GFP Heritage Championship: Ricky Stallion continues his recent hot streak by defeating U.K. Bruiser to capture the Heritage Championship (***1/4). Another solid bout, can Stallion continue his run, with "his" title?
Main Event: GFP World Championship. The Messenger (1st defense) d. Manny Fernandez soundly, ending this feud with a victory (**). The Messenger gives a thorough butt-whuppin' to the evil Fernandez, much to the delight of the fans!!
Card Wrap-up: Really solid card, with 4 out of 6 matches rated 3-stars or higher. 3 out of 4 belts change hands, but the crowd does get to go home happy with The Messenger defeating his rival Fernandez. A little bit of a let down in the Demtor-Ken Po match, as Demtor emerged victorious. Crowd really popped for Paige's victory over the evil Mother Russia...she's a fave! All in all, great action to end Season 1. Fans, we thank you so much for following along this first Season, and we look forward to your fine patronage in Season 2!

Hi folks.
As I start Season 2, I'm going to switch up the format a bit. I'm moving to what I like to call a "World Title Tour" format, for lack of a better description. It's how I run my wrestling worlds in COTG, LOW, and other sims.
How this works is simple. First, I've imagined my GFP as a consortium of individual territories, like the old NWA. Each card will feature the World Champion as he tours the various territories/regions of my GFP, making defenses against the local stars. I'm not actually playing each territory in my GFP...when the World Champ makes a stop in one of the towns of my GFP, I'm imagining the contender he's facing to be the top local star of the area.
Each card will highlight the World Title match, perhaps one other feature match from around the GFP....and then that's about it. After the card is over, the World Champ will move on to the next town, for his next defense.....UNLESS a feud has popped up over the World Title (and rest assured, this happens a fair amount, if there's heat!).
I will still have my secondary titles, and you will see these on future cards, as "action from around the GFP". But, my cards will largely be short and sweet, and all about the World Title defense.
This will all make better sense when I get into this, so without further adieu, let's begin!
Season Two
Card #1:
GFP World Title: The Messenger (2nd Defense) d. Demtor with Last Rites to maintain ownership of the GFP World Title in a solid title bout (***). Demtor got in a few shots to start the contest, but our champion took control of the match after the initial onslaught, and put the challenger away with his finisher.
Now, let's go to some more action from around GFP. We'll head live to GFP HQ in Memphis, TN for a Heritage Title match!
GFP Heritage Championship: Ricky Stallion (1st Defense) d. Space Monkey with the Queen City Lock (**1/2). The Memphis faithful were fully invested in seeing Monkey defeat the hated Stallion, but just wasn't meant to be, as Stallion locked in his (painful) finishing hold to put it away!
Next Card: Our Champion next travels to Louisville for a scheduled defense against the #1 contender, Thunder Gold. Be sure to get your tickets early GFP fans!

Finally....the tour comes to the GFP! I'm interested in seeing where this goes. I like the format and may have to try something similar with it. Thanks for sharing your fine action.

Finally....the tour comes to the GFP! I'm interested in seeing where this goes. I like the format and may have to try something similar with it. Thanks for sharing your fine action. This concept is something I would try too, but I'm deep into my fed and so that's out of the question for now. Now, with the Kickstarter coming and the future growth of Fight Pass and any other future sets I could maybe do a hybrid of this concept...

Really appreciate the feedback guys. The format works well. Very well, in fact, if you want to play multiple Feds, so to speak (for example, you could do a Title Tour format for Glitter, and/or one for more sci-fi types, and/or one for more traditional wrestlers/fighters, etc.). I borrowed it from another promoter who was playing historical NWA World Title tours, and it has worked extremely well for me over the years. So, in my wrestling universe as it were, I run tours for the GWF, my LOW fed, a COTG bootleg fed (there's this guy...Y2K...he keeps tearing it up in there Eric ), and now my GFP. There are multiple title changes, so if you're a fan of long title reigns, you may be disappointed. Now, with that said, you can and will see fighters/wrestlers go on long title runs too. There's a little bit of everything really. I think this will be borne out as I move along with this.

CARD 2: Thunder Gold d. The Messenger to become the nnnnneeeeewwww GFP World Champion (****....very good bout!). This was a captivating contest, which saw the action see-saw back and forth several times, until Mr. Gold finally seized the opportunity, and put The Messenger away with his finisher. The Messenger, ever the class act, put Gold over with the Louisville crowd, raising Gold's hand triumphantly to the cheers of the crowd.
Action from around GFP: In Birmingham, AL, the hated JJ Houston d. Hollywood Gunn, much to the chagrin of the crowd (**3/4). Houston continues to try and carve out a name for himself away from his stablemate, Ricky Stallion.
Next Card: No rest for the weary, as our new champion will head to Nashville, TN for a scheduled defense against Yoko-Ohno. Ohno has been destroying the area's competition, and has said he will do the same to Gold. Can Gold withstand the terror of Ohno??

Card #3: Yoko-Ohno d. Thunder Gold to capture his 1st GFP World Championship in a solid title bout (***1/2). Gold put up a heckuva defense against Ohno, and the end was unfortunately marred by controversy. Before the pin fall, Ohno slugged Gold with what appeared to be assistance in the form of a foreign object (egads!), and Gold went down like a shot. Ohno then executed his finisher, to add insult to injury, and put away the unconscious Gold.
GFP officials thought there was some chicanery going on, and when they reviewed the video of the match, they saw enough evidence to order an immediate rematch. This will take place on our next card of action, live and in color from Greensboro, NC.
Action from around GFP: Dragon Blood d. Ricky Stallion to capture his 1st Heritage Championship in a good bout (***). These 2 mortal enemies clashed once again, and this time, it was Blood emerging victorious. Stallion was hopping mad at having lost "his" title, and something tells this GFP reporter that these 2 will clash again soon!
Next Card: Yoko-Ohno defends his newly (and perhaps underhandedly) won GFP World Title in a rematch with Thunder Gold, from (as mentioned) Greensboro, NC. Tensions are high between these 2, so don'tcha dare miss it!
