The plan right now is to do the first 4-6 shows as tournaments. Once my Free Agents and Guardians set show up I'll go into regular match ups.

I really like the way your results read. The fight recaps are quick but entertaining and the stories in The Bionic Elbow are awesome! Great job! I look forward to reading more of your results!

Man Jack is on his game right now. When Ratchet went on her streak for me, she lost her seventh fight, so the time is close for Jack I fear.
Death Star continues to be impressive even in defeat. You have to think that Death Star was a punch or two away from victory against Jack.
Khan had nothing for the champ. I'm betting that the magazines will have Jack as the top fighter next month - if not already.
Love the idea of second show to give the bottom guys a chance to improve.
Another two great submissions sir - keep up the great work.

The Bionic Elbow #4: June 28, 2125
by Scoop Muldoon
We did a quick turnaround on the release of the Bionic Elbow this time because the Intergalactic Fight Club released the card for the first ever Gym Wars show. It's a really interesting concept if you ask me. The IFC will be taking guys that haven't seen much action or suffered first round losses and give them chances to earn some victories on smaller shows. These Gym Wars shows will take place in smaller venues in front of 200-600 fans. I think this is a great idea as it gives guys a chance to make some headway in their career and stay active. I also personally believe that this tournament format isn't forever and win-loss record will matter sooner or later. I would hate to see that happen and have some of these guys sitting at 0-3 or 0-4 while other guys have 5 or 6 wins. Let's take a look at the card:
Honest Abe (0-1) vs. Yoko Oh-No (0-1) Abe had a poor drawing at the first IFC as he had to face Bobcat Jack in the opening round of the tournament. Yoko on the other hand had a more favorable match up with Death Star and let the much smaller man beat him. I've referred to Yoko as a stiff in previous issues and I stand by that. Keep the gimmicky freakshows in places like the GWF. As far as this fight goes. Abe has good technical abilities as far as I've seen. He can brawl and he can work the ground. Yoko's obvious advantage is his size and strength. I think you'll see him going for slams and trying to wear down Abe with his bulk. I tend to think Honest Abe has the advantage in this match.
Rabbid (1-0) vs. Party Pirate (0-1) I still haven't gotten a straight answer out of Tick Tock about that mystery injury that Rabbid had at IFC 1. I'm hoping to get to the bottom of that eventually. Rabbid is going to be taking on the Party Pirate here. The Pirate didn't show us much at IFC 2. He really just came off as fodder for Krusher Khan. It will be interesting to see if the Party Pirate looks a little better here. I personally think Rabbid is going to run over the Pirate here.
Punk A.D. (0-1) vs. The Messenger (0-2) What can be said about this one other than this is a must win match for The Messenger. He's 0-2 right now and another defeat is going to put him in a big hole to dig himself out of. He has not looked good in his first two matches. Punk A.D. was defeated by Death Star in his first match but it was a great performance and probably my fight of the night. I think this one will probably be the best fight on the card. The Messenger is going to be desperate to get a win and Punk A.D. looks like he'll entertain every time he goes out there. I think Punk A.D. takes this one.
Ken PO (0-1) vs. Tick Tock (0-1) Tick Tock really showed us nothing at IFC 2 while Ken Po gave Krusher Khan a lot of trouble at IFC 1. We also know Ken Po is an accomplished fighter before he came to the IFC. I think this one is a no brainer as Ken Po picks up the victory.

I'm absolutely loving your IFC, MD! I love how Bobcat is the man in your league. What do you think of the game mechanics?

I'm diggin' your Bionic Elbow stuff a lot. It's a great way to keep the fed feeling like it is a real sport while still giving plenty of story. Keep it up!

IFC Gym Wars #1: 7/10/2125
Ken Po (1-1) KOs Tick Tock (0-2) with the Ryuken Tick Tock came out aggressive at the start of the fight. He kept Po off balance with knee strikes and dirty boxing. Ken caught a Rolling Koppu Kick out of nowhere and that changed the complexion of the fight. Ken just started to pick Tick Tock apart with an Ultra Tiger Uppercut and worked him over against the cage. Ken hit the Ryuken and that was it for the fight. Ken Po picks up a victory.
The Messenger (1-2) KOs Punk A.D. (0-2) with the Last Rites The Messenger was on the defensive almost immediately here. Punk hit a Future Fist Smash and then the Back Blaster. The Messenger ducked the Sonic Boom Kick and caught Punk with a head kick. The Messenger used the Last Rites and it was all over. The Messenger picks up a much needed victory.
Party Pirate (1-1) KOs Rabbid (1-1) with the Party Punch This was all Rabbid from the start. He was working the rabbit punch almost immediately and he kept taking down Party Pirate and using the Feral Stomp. Party Pirate showed some real fortitude as he withstood this assault. Party Pirate hit the Crane Kick and then caught Rabbid with the Party Punch. Rabbid went down and it was all over. Party Pirate picks up what many consider to be an upset victory.
Honest Abe (1-1) KOs Yoko-Ohno (0-2) with the Ax Handle Smash This was a tale of two fights. When Abe was in control he was relentlessly attacking Ohno and trying to knock him out with brawling moves. When Ohno was in control he was using slams to try and soften Abe up for the Bonzai Splash. The fight broke wide open when Abe caught Ohno with the Ax Handle Smash. Ohno fell to the mat and Abe was on him in a second. Abe pounded Ohno until the referee stepped in to stop the fight. Abe picks up the win here.

Another great card. It's interesting to see Rabbid not dominating as I would have expected him to. He seems to do well but I don't think I've seen anybody with him as champ.

He never hits his finisher and the rolls just don't go his way for me. I kind of expected him to win that fight.

I played out IFC 3. That will probably be my last tournament show. The winner is going to walk away with a title belt. I'm going to add weight divisions when I have 12 guys per division.

Messenger with a much needed win - happy to see that. It is amazing how different everyone's results are - different fighters perform differently for everyone. Also, always great to see the RYUKEN! victory. Great job maddog1981! Keep those results coming!
